The only problem with this The New Wave and Nouvelle thing is that it means his first name should be La (or Le, I get confused)

Also decided that Kwaremont Cross is the oldest cross in history. Next year is the 100th edition. I did some research but couldn't find it, hope the Oude Kwaremont itself is older than that I think it was there before 1910, though 
Also wanted to touch on the point of dismounting. Give me your input for next season: in real life riders dismount more than in our game, where they hardly do this. So should "running" and dismounting for several sections become a part of the sport again more or is it good like this?

I would like that, it'll make the races more realistic and add the challenge of staying on the bike/the choice to dismount or try to keep riding, as well as trying to force someone to dismount for a tough sand or mud section. This already exists, but this would increase the importance of it and staying on the bike, plus add another aspect in running.
Spoiler Also Sylvain is on of the best runners.  but that's not actually why.

Great Interview! Also, I'm with trek on the dismount discussion, although I'm not yet involved in the Game. It would increase realism and add in another aspect, like trek already mentioned.

Interesting interview, Ian really needed some rp time for himself, that was desperate Nah just adds another piece to the puzzle.
Dismounting, I'm with trek 100% would add an extra layer to the game. Also on the more Belgian less foreign point, i was going to bring it up at proper race suggestion as four all the globalization four races is surely is too little? Like go suggest to a CX purist that Belgium has the same number of races in the season as the USA besides just stole a great route idea from Shonak.

I always thought that there were minor running parts in each profile, just that it was hardly mentioned because it was sorta a given? The more you know I guess.
@Jandal: On national level, USA CX is pretty big and vivid scene, lots of races for amateurs. It's mostly just not featured that much in elite races because of the travel expenses but USA definitely has the most stuff going on, in terms of races, organziation etc, in CX behind Belgium, Netherlands and perhaps - but I don't even really think so - France & Czech Republic.

I know some about the US amateur scene and that it's pretty big - Just thought it was a bit strange having it still that many races whilst Belgium is dramatically decreased. Even now just one above France and the same as Britain and Murica. But as the guy who brought the Kiwis in I am in full support of globalization But if we do add more I think at least one should be in the motherland, especially with UK maybe getting a fifth if rumours are believed.

I thought the same actually, just that I'm not really into real life cyclocross that much because fuck Italy, and hardly noticed that it happens rarely that the riders dismount. I'm not really sure it would be a plus, it's up to you Ian imo

Hopefully Sylvain can win one more race this season please, but he has kind of dropped a bit since the worlds, I'm just hoping for one more win before the end of the season.

Well after a season with no 4th places I'm happy to take it at Kwaremont, just like last season, when after a win-less season Matt raised his arms for the first time. Stunning report though.
Vague keeps dominating the season fair and square, will be interesting to see what he can do with the world cup. He surely knows how to win things
