Dippo - You speak out of my heart!
Manx International: Continuing the Monster Show
This season is his show: Luis Leon Sanchez Gil puts in another performance of the highest level. Manx International was once again dominated by the 32-year old spaniard.
It's the fifth time that LLS crosses the finish line first this season and once again it was due to strength, cleverness and courage.
He was the first of the big favourites to move when he attacked 19km out, stayed calm when top riders like Costa were in front and was the strongest on the last kilometres.

LLS has been absolutely ridiculous so far, it can only be a matter of weeks till he tests positive.

LLS is also imo signing of the year. Well, aside from Pluchkin of course.
And sorry dippo, no positive Doping tests for you. That's not the way it works. It's all about always striving for improvement, for those marginal gains, in absolutely every single thing we do.
And knowing those people who can get you out of trouble when you need them

Rider Development 2015-2016
Already when we applied for a CT license the team ideology included the development of talents and when the license was granted we went on to sign a couple of very promising talents. Despite the unexpected promotion in our first season the team sticks to the long term plan and signed further talents which will help us becoming even stronger.
12 riders currently on contract with Evonik as well as 2 loaned in riders will return to the cycling world next season stronger as they are now.

As seen above a lot of riders will return improved. Still - there's a lot to do to lift the team to a higher level.
It still takes some time until we get to the contract negotiations but this is a first draft of how our team could look next season.

Some very nice talents on your team. It'll help your team a lot in the future.
Makes me realise the lack of talents on my team though.

Love your talents! With the amount of riders getting an upgrade and depth you have and only basically LLS/Boonen to replace, I can easily see the team adapting for PT very easily!

Trek - oh yeah, it will help me a lot. If you have a lack of talents that must not necessarily be a bad thing. Just keep in mind that you can use those roster spots for riders that help you immediately instead of going my talent way which means that I give up quite a few roster spots for riders that are useless right now.
Atlantius - Thanks.
Dev - I don't think I share your confidence. I think there's a big difference to the weakest PT teams so it would require a hell of a transfer season to safe my team. Although I would love to prove you right. But first of all , LLS has to promote me ...

Sponsor Announcement 2016: Evonik - ELKO
Evonik - ELKO goes through a dream season. One success chases the other and we have had much reasons to celebrate. Our sponsors couldn't be more happy about the development of the team as they were presented prominently in many media coverages with especially our two superstars Tom Boonen and Luis Leon Sanchez Gil getting tons of attention towards the team.
Thus, our sponsors wanted to remain connected with the cycling team and we want to announce now that the old and new name for the upcoming 2016 season will be "Evonik - ELKO".
While a lot remains similar there's one notable twist: We want to apply for a Latvian License to further emphasize our ambitions to promote Latvian cycling. This does not mean that we'll forget our German roots though as we'll further try to integrate German talent in our team.

Great news regarding the sponsors, as i am the fan of continuity and having a latvian license would be super cool, given the base of talents you have from that country (icluding some of those that were part of Metinvest).
Your talent pool is great, which is incredible, given the fact that you had to climb the divisions and thus orientate also on fast success. Guys like Mohoric, Smirnovs, Bekmanis, Vosekalns are nice talents (Mohoric is awesome of course, how on earth did you get him as promoting PCT team, i dont remember that).
I hope to see you in PT next year and i am looking forward to some nice eastern european battles between our two teams.
I just regret i cant offer you a Mohoric loan in, seeing you are likely promoting again.

315k get you to a lot of places, no matter the division

Happy to see your team doing great with so many talents, and it is nice to see you are going to continue going 'the Baltic way'. Mohoric will be ace.

Avin - How I got Mohoric? Nothing easier than that. Here's the tl;dr : Resisting to late overbidding Roman because his wage was already absolute boarderline of what I could get under my cap. Instead: Trading a future 80SP (Haller) and 400,000 for him, selling some of my favourite / most successful riders from the first season (Stoltz, Saramotins) for that and loaning in rather weak riders for a small fee (Weiss) to get the transfer fee needed , signing 4 stagiaires (3 of them utter shit) to get to the minimum rider amount while staying in the cap and accepting that promotion would not be possible this season ( ) if i use the remaining budget/cap space for a talent instead of a third proper leader and tada, there he is
I would love to race against you, too
Heine - I expect quite a lot from Mohoric once maxed. And just imagine how strong he would be with some training
cio - If only those 315k would be everything i had to pay
Roman - Thanks. Turning Latvian is just a logical decision when I look at my squad. 8 of the 10 Latvians under contract in the MG belong to me with only Skujins and our alumni Saramotins in other teams. In comparison, the 25 best Germans are in other teams.
