A route wihtout any cobbles and people are mentioning Hammarling? Not a very good newspaper...
Also it's not a Belgian newspaper, and even then i know they would at least mention who won the race. Even if it's in a hate filled, condesending, arrogant, doping-theory accusation manner
Btw I never specified where it was from, actually meant to be British or Yank
One year later...
Hammer Time! Hagfors could be interesting, Mikel on a massive high infront of a home crowd, he could really shake things up!
Exactly what I wrote in said newspaper TMM's role-play must be amazing if he can add Markson and Goldenberg with Power improving and still have Hammarling move up a bit in the hills

Jandal, if you really want to know what happened, why do you have Lachybsay that Sylvain shouldn't tell anyone .

Lachy said that, I didn't. Jamal Kuriba really wants to know, Lachy Bauer knows and respects his friends privacy and feelings (Our LLC chats make for such great references )

Lachy Bauer already knows and doesn't want others (such as Jamal Kuriba) to know.

My 3rd Rider for next season who isn't African this time. A slightly different rider.
Name: Matt Payne
Nationality: New Zealand (Kiwi)
Date of Birth: 17th June 1996 (19)
Height: 175cm
Weight: 72kg
Speciality: Techincal Genius, Intelligent Rider (Although these will have to improve), Bad weather specialist
Weaknesses: Can't sustain powerful efforts (may change in a few seasons), not great in hot weather (will become better as he gets used to it), can lose concentration at such a young age (will disappear with experience).
Biography: The 19 year old Kiwi started riding at a very ripe age of 6. Having grown up in Taupo, one adventure capital in NZ, he spent a lot of his spare time riding around the forests and hills just South of Taupo. His mum or dad would drop him and his best mate off and they would ride all day before being picked up shortly after sunset. Techincally he is one of the best you get in his age group having ridden some of the hardest tracks in the country and nailing them. He also knows that he is capable of and doesn't overdo himself, he knows his limits and will ride on the edge of them. Because of the rather varied weather in his home region he did a lot of riding in the rain, the cold and even the snow near Mt Ruapehu, he is fearless and keeps warm despite his average build. However, he tends to be left behind by early accelerations as he is not the most powerful of riders but he catches back up later in the race. He is not used to the hot weather in other parts of the world. His young age and lack of professional experience will sometimes let him down as he fails to see that he needs to put in an acceleration to keep up and has at times lost amateur races following an early attack where he simply didn't read the distance and time he had to close down the leader.
Matt looks forward to racing with and against others who share his passion for the sport and has been inspired by the results achieved by other New Zealand riders in the recent past, especially the likes of Josiah Bennett and Lachy Bauer.
Stats:
Bike Handling (technical): High
Sand: Low
Uphill: Medium
Cobblestones: Very Low
Sprinting: Low
Explosiveness: Very Low
Flat (TT/riding hard): High
Power: Medium
Running: Medium
Snow/Ice: Very High
Jumping: Low
These stats are probably too high for a 19 year old so feel free to adjust if you want, just trying to show where his strengths and weaknesses are.

Great sign-up LLS! I'll keep him on ice for you (get it?) until the season starts and get him into the U23 league now. |

Yipee! Didn't expect Mikel to hang in for quite that long against riders of the calibre of Vague and Cook. Gutsy ride that probably took a lot out of him. Decision now wether to rest him slightly or keep pressing onwards

4th, not bad, Sylvain's tactics were a bit risky and he did beat Milan in a sprint

Nice report, the scandinavian races are definitely my favs next to the belgian events.
That gap of the Top 5 in the UCI classification to the 6th & rest is immense. Almost 500 points.

Wow, yeah. Hadn't noticed that before.
Well if you see who's on sixth, Bollinger, it's clear. There are five riders who have been more or less consistent in their racing. And then those who got good results but were completely gone in other crosses |

Solid 12th, also I read it was a nice sprint for 10th, beware of Matt
Nah but it's nice to see the Cookie Monster winning for once, thanks for the great report Ian!

Yeah I love these Scandinavian races, and so does Milan
Milan coming in quite hot in the UCI ranks, will probably beat Gormley and we're going for late top 10 tilt!
Sylvain is a copycat wheelsucker of Milan

That wasn't intended, he just was trying to not smash himself here.

Trondheim CX preview!
Also, I mean what I wrote: I lost track.
I once mentioned how many World Cups Cornelis already had. If someone would remember or know where I said it, that'd be fantastic because I didn't write it down and I forgot!
EDIT: maybe who can tell me will mysteriously win the next race, you know... |

Lol even if I told you I would have a good laugh at seeing Matt winning a race in Norway with -5 degrees and no climbs
