Well... Celesio is screwed, only 4 riders available for the development team and only 35 euro's left to buy anything. |

What do you mean? He is over-budget for the WT team by 705 simoleons. I agree with Ollfardh. My understanding is you can't use the dev team budget to finance the main team, yet here you are allowing him to finance his main team with the dev team budget.
If you are allowing that, OK, but it should have been added to the rules. |

I would also be interested to know how much budget I can use for the main team, as they have been out together

The minimum wage of all development riders combined is 1000, the maximum 1500.
So I guess since 5800 is your budget, 5800 - 1000 = 4800, which is the max budget for your main team, while 4300 is the minimum for the main team (even though you are not forced to spend all the money right now).

The main and dev team budget were from the very beginning only one combined budget. As long as Silvio fulfills all requirements towards the end of the transfer season there is nothing wrong.
Maybe I should add a rule though for next transfer season in which the dev team budget is seen as a seperate budget, but that wasn't the case so far. |

Well, I don't think they should be seperated, after all you only decide which riders go into the dev team much later in the transfer period. I was assuming Silvio was over his total budget, not his main team budget. All should be ok then.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yeah that's the reason why I hadn't separated the budgets before. |

I understand what TheRider is arguing for. As already noted, there was never any rule saying you can't use the money as you wish for now and care for a full dev team later on. Does it makes sense to separate both? - I don't know. But from my point of view it can't be involved for this transfer season.

So, how is it looking after two days? Aside from brewers, I think most should be done by now?

We are far from done.. I'll send out PMs to the managers that I didn't get a PM from yet later. |

I think primary target should be to give specializations outside of stage racers the chance to score some more ranking points, that's why I thought to move Worlds Ports Classic up to WT and add a new pure sprinters stage race to the calendar in CT instead.
I think cobblers will get to score more points with an (hopefully) improved PCM15 AI. We still can add that race matt posted on the first page.
I thought about adding a timetrialers stage race or something. I think that can turn out quite cool with a prologue a TTT and two longer ITTs, one hilly one flat. What do you think about that?
The idea of shorter CT GTs was also nice, so I'd bring back the Volta a Portugal, which was also suggested and maybe a to 11 stages reduced Tour of South Africa consisting out of the stages tsmoha made. Also the Vuelta a Colombia would be reduced to 11.
Last season the African stage races weren't really heavily contested, so with the Tour of SA added, I'd might remove the Tour of Eritrea and move Bongo to CT. But I'd still like to have a race from each continent in the WT, so I'd like to add an African one day race to the WT any ideas?
I know the descente pavee race isn't really liked all around but I'd still keep it. It's kind of a fun race.
Are there any more races you guys would like to see removed or do you have any more ideas for new races?
What do you think?
Also I now edited the equipment table standardized every team will use Merida frames, Campagnolo wheels and Groups, Giro Helmets and Oakley glasses. You can change that though if you like in the spoiler are the available brands:

I think the time-triallist race sounds interesting, as well as the three 11 stage CT "GTs". I think something like Waghlon's BMX race would be fun, but not sure if it's been converted. Would you consider SN's olympics as well?

B-x - Yeah, keep the Descent Pavee, I'd say, it is different and probably the most breath-taking race on the calendar.
For the WT calendar, here is what I think:
- To change things up I would like to see at least one stage race (for GC guys) clash with at least one GT. (ie Mount Fuji to clash with the TDF).
- We should scrap that WT triple header for sure (at least one of the races).
- Could we start the WT calendar with the Toowoomba stage race, and start the race with a TTT? It would be nice to have a TTT to start us off, I feel.

I think it'd be good if some cobbled races were in continental tour. IMo there are also enough sprinter-events in World Tour already, plus lots of fitting stages.

This please. I feel that Time Trialists have too few events where they can win their teams some points. I mean look at where the best TTist in the db ended up in the prestige rankings this year:
70 | Tony Martin | Celesio Pro Cycling | GER | 698 |
I'd definitely be pro-ttists stage race for that reason. And why not, Chrono des Nations to WT with Chrono des Herbiers new race in CT or viceversa?
