Maarten Tjallingii (Lotto Jumbo) extends his contract for half a year. He will retire after the National Champs.
And in other news, I thought it was never going happen but finally Lotto Jumbo signs Dylan Groenewegen what appears to be 3 year deal.

Devolder and Popovych both get renewed for another season with Trek, I can see Devolder's worth but how the hell did Popovych get another contract? The guy can barely turn a pedal without the FULL Bruyneel program yet they keep giving him a paycheque.....

what a strange signing. he'll dissapear in America untill July before finishing 12th in the Tour.
Surely they could've done better with Kittel's money.

Kittel's money? They released him for free. He wasn't bought out of contract. So only his wages got freed up, but its kinda late in the season to use them

Can`t believe that Giant let Kittel go, but I guess it`s good for the team option wise as they now have a budget to bring in more riders to support Dumoulin in GT's and already have a strong team to support Degenkolb in the classics and sprints. |
