Not sure about this. Letting Kwiatek and their sprint train go, as well as Uran, doesn't seem that well to me. Well, they got Dan Martin, who is probably a bit better than Kwiatek in the Ardennes(if he doesn't crash), but he isn't as good as Uran in the GTs imo. Cav had a bad season, but then they have Gaviria now, who seems promising, but letting his possible lead out train go as well(Renshaw + Eisel) is just moronic. I know that these 2 are very much connected to Cav. They'll follow him, wherever he goes. eisel comes from sky Oh and don't forget Alaphilliphe

Alaphilippe is certainly more reliable than Dan Martin.

Lol, how could I get that wrong. Surely Eisel comes from Sky.

I wouldn't be suprised if both Martin and Alaphilippe have a better Ardennes campaign then Kwiatek. Jungels will overtake Uran at some point, if not in 2016 already, it will definitely be in 2017. Gaviria is no Cav yet, but they also have other youngsters like Lampaert and Contreras. And guys like Trentin and Van Keirsbulck and due for a first big win.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Cavendish to MTN must seem like a wet dream for him, he has a team 99% dedicated to be his sprint train whenever he wants it and no arguments. I'm pretty certain he'll notch up more sprint victories than any other sprinter in 2016. |

I don't think they care about GC at GT's so Uran isn't a great loss, keeping Cav meant keeping a train which means if Cav isn't on form then you have a few wasted spots in a race. To me the squad looks just as good for next season as it was this year, Alaphillippe, T.Martin, D.Martin, Jungles, Stybar, Terpstra, Trentin plus more, the team is stacked with talent

I'd happily bet against Cav not taking the most wins out of the sprinters next season, he isn't the fastest guy in the peloton anymore and when he had the dedicated team at HTC other teams wern't as committed as they were to sprint trains, now there are a couple of teams around who can form a strong train so he will get wins but won't be dominant

international representation for the idiots that think the dutch are the master race.

That's exactly the reason, otherwise they were considering pulling out of the team (allegedly)

Is Ciolek staying? Thought I read somewhere that he's leaving MTN

Farrar is going to be doing leadouts for Cavendish.
Words cannot describe my disgust at that notion.

I'm pretty Cavendish doesn't want to take that risk, he has had enough crashes the last two years

Farrar is a great team mate for him in the tougher races, cobbled classics.
But I see your point |
