Contracts not getting renewed in second season

Rider contracts of neither my team nor other teams are getting renewed in the second season. I'm currently at the start of the Vuelta, so that's a pretty long time the transfer/renewal period has been open already. How do I solve this problem? Please help. |

Have you installed the latest patch? I recall that problem occurring in earlier versions of the game, but it was fixed by patches.
Should also apply to your other issue
