The dream seems to be over.
Giant fucked up big time. They should have gotten a guy in the BOTD. It would really matter now. |

well Aru, Rodriguez and Majka make up the podium, that's nice I guess.
Lets start cheering for JRod to drop Aru on the last Mountain.

Right, if it's not Dumoulin it needs to be Rodriguez. Please not Astana |

No, not really.
Dumoulin might have closed down the gap (although whether he would have been able to hold on to Aru on the climb is an altogether different question) if Astana hadn't had that sudden injection of pace from LLS and Zeits. If Dumoulin had a team-mate it could have made quite a bit of a difference at that crucial moment. But this is all what-if speculation.

Just to quote some member: "So much hypocrisy in this thread."
Before today, the route was shit. Bad designed. No action possible after the TT...
Now: Great route. Great action. Aru great!
Talking about hypocrisy.

Good grief! Just as the live stream came back Tom D. is in great trouble, well played Astana. Now I wish Jrod will do his move and take the win.

Well played by Astana, but looking at Dumoulin today it was inevitable that Aru would win. |

Well in the least, I am one of the people who doesn't want Aru to win. But I should tell you the truth, there tactics today is impressive. I hope Jrod will overtake Aru and thanks Astana for the hard work.
