I don't think the break earned too much time, so hopefully we see a proper race from the peloton.
Thanks roturn for the report.

That was absolutely awful. Seems to be quite a gamebreaking AI here again.
Thanks roturn

Good stuff by Langeveld, he did this one perfectly. We brought some top breakaway riders for this race, who will be well down in GC but can fight for a stage win all the time. Very nice to see it work out. I have had little hopes for this race, it's good to see the Dutch already fulfilling & exceeding them on the first day. Maybe another stage win is in it somewhere along the way, GC will be lost on third day anyway.

Novatek`s win record this season is amazing. Not only is Serebriakov really performing this year. Also the other sprinters use to sprint into the top3 and now Popov with that coup.
Sucks for Lierse of course who should have dominated a bit more but Pelucchi clearly was seen as no.1, which might make sense against Peeters. Then again he possibly had won without the intermediate sprints. So at least some points by Peeters today. |

Not much for us here, Fahnert came 10th and I have no clue why, but I'm happy with it. and Zeits 12th as well for some reason
Only Domagalski losing time but he's really a domestique unless the mountains turn out to matter.
Thanks for the report again Roturn.

Hadn't expected Popov to win here. Not that I mind
Rabon as usual looking very strong, with yet another top-10. Probably did a top-10 in about half his stages so far this season or so.
Hochmann a bit of a letdown, but Popov winning makes up for that
Thanks again roturn

I don't know what that was supposed to be, weird sprint. And always a bit disappointing when Nielsen just decides not to try at all.

Nice to see the entire team finish 1'40 back for no fucking reason. Terrific work guys! More of that tomorrow and we'll be unstoppable!

Not the start we were expecting, this. I can't believe we didn't try to form a sprint train. Let's see what the next stages can do for us. |

Your sprint team is too strong. I had the same thing last year, resulting in absolute rubbish. That's why I never have Serebriakov and Hochmann together anymore

Tolleson in good position, still finishes outside top 10. I already have a shortlist of better sprinters for next season...
Thanks roturn

Ffs the AI being awful again. Rabon 2nd best of the GC riders, which is a good sign. It's however nothing new that he constantly does well but ends behind breakaways. Hopefully the pack does give a fuck about stage wins in the two remaining hilly stages.
