Great sprint by Reijinen who climbed well over Independent Pass, to end BMC domination; BMC have been easily in control of the peloton on this stage though.

Yesterday Molard won the stage from a breakaway of eight, just in front of a sprinting peloton.
Today the stage was won by Lammertink in a sprint. Colbrelli took bonus seconds yesterday and today and managed to win the overall.
BMC domination continues in Colorado with a 1-2 by Dennis and Bookwalter, who also take the first two spots in GC.

Soon to be former Veenendaaler Wilco Kelderman tried to get in the morning break (but was brought back), and later attacked on the final hill, but was caught again. Still finished fifth or so according to my granddad.
The best thing about Groenewegen is that he had a puncture wiith 10 kilometers to go, returns to the peleton and still wins the bunch sprint
I'll upload some pictures soon...

Roompot already leading the peleton on the first lap.
Peleton second lap
Attackers third lap
Specially for Jesleyh, Kelderman's last lap attack [He finished 21st btw]
And the last rider, talking to the broom-wagon.
And then I climbed it 2 times, unfortunately without cameras
Spoiler No wait, my mom was still there
Very aerodramatic...

Not even funny anymore more for the sponsors Trek and Cannondale. If I was a (marketing) manager of one of this companies, I'd be super pissed. Those teams really need a proper rider for the US conti Tour, they can't be happy at how BMC is regularly dominating the scene and getting great value for their money and all the US sees is TVG & Co on their shiny BMC bikes, whilst Trek and Cannondale are just sorta... there, doing nothing. Hecke, even Hincapie, Jelly Belly & Co. reprsent tehmselves better than Trek & Cannondale.

On paper, Arredondo and Formolo should have been strong enough to dominate stage 2.

Well it's not actually BMC's money. Unlike with Trek and Cannondale.

I've never hated Kreuziger more than just now. even though it's not for a valid reason
Kreuziger wins the stage in USAPCC before Mejias

1. Greipel
2. Kristoff
3. Nizzolo
4. Van Avermaet
5. Boonen
6. Demare
Greipel clearly fastest. Deserved it for what he did last weekend!

How does Kristoff manage to be too far in the front ahead of every single sprint he takes part in?
And why did Cavendish have to crash? I was looking forward to see him battle against the others.

Kristoff came in the wind at exactly the right time. 200 metres is perfect.
