And in lighter, less marriagey news: It's my 8th Daily-birthday today.
Cheers to 8 years of PCM07 sucking like shit!

3300 posts per year for you, just under 3000 (2940 or something) for me, that's only 1 post per day difference.

There is hope on the horizon for you, the other member of the dutch duo is leaving soon

Today, I have my theoretical test for my driving licence.
For all interested, here is my whole preparation for this: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I started looking into this yesterday night, so I didn't sleep. What could possibly go wrong
16:00 will start my test, kinda(we drive from here at 16:00)
I hope I won't fail, since it took me alot of nerves to that point already. Since my brain seems to be half-afk all the time, it cant process the data, sent from my right eye, properly, so I only can see around 60% on my right eye.(although I already wear glasses)
60% is 10% under the minimum, tho. Normally I would count as a visually impaired person. So I took the eye tests at several opticians, passing the last test, with guessing and with taking myself some minute more, to slowly get my brain used to the focussing of the "rings" in the test(we have rings with one open spot and we need to name the spot, f.e. top-left corner)
Wish me luck

me thinking: hmm this might be interesting, I've need to start working on my drivers licence. some tips on how to do this might be helpfull. I mean 20 years old and no progress on a drivers license is kinda bad.

I managed to pass the test. So the learning strategy works.

Took me 18 years until I got over my fear of learning to drive. Not sure if they make anyone else parallel park but they made me. Luckily I passed my test on the very first try, at the age of 19

Nothing to be ashamed of. My sister is 19 and she doesn't have a license yet, she has her test soon.
I have already made my permit test date for October, when I turn 16. And I got really lucky, cause I should have a car as well. my family is not in any position to buy a car, and I'm not either (I can't get a job yet), but a couple of years ago my dad's care broke down, and instead of getting it fixed he bought a new one. He kept the old car and said if I pay to get it fixed, which is about 1 grand, I can have it. So I got pretty lucky there. Not sure how I'm gonna pay for insurance though...

I failed my permit test 3 times... then passed the 4th time, 4 months after my 16th b-day.

Jeez, that's tough. That's also a lot of money on permit tests! (At least here in Connecticut). I better study up.
