Nothing decisive happened on the opening stage, but it's already frightening to see Di Maggio rollin in not even trying to make a move... hope he at least saved some energy.

10 Minutes!? Really didn't expect this, seems like the mountain stat will had an effect after all. Still, no excuses for Ben Nasser who has a decent mountain stat.
With Evonik and LLS dominating, this race has quickly turned to a complete disaster for us.
I already have doubts over Ben Nasser for next season with us whatever happens with Kwiatkowski doing so well, so below-par performances like here and at Seskin will hardly help him! |

No mountain stat shit? Right Anyhow, Prevar should not have lost that much time, and Kononenko should never have finished above him, uless he had been in the break... Bad race, Closer to relegation

You`re welcome knockout.
And what the holy moly? Aru you crazy guy. +5 I guess with Olivier also very well while all others lost enough for breakaway appearances.
Mountain indeed looked not unimportant though. PCM possibly taking the stat no matter the rating? |

Just caught up here. Hoping for more breakaway appearances from Kadri, otherwise this may be a 1 pprd race |

77 MO 78 MO 77 MO.
Any puncheur with less than or around 70 MO loses more than 6 minutes.
Call that a puncheur race.
Serious question, can I demand a re-run, cause whatever ratio SN set this on, it was very obviously ignored by the game. On first thought, this falls into the same category as splits because of narrow roads for me.

No it doesn`t imo.
@tsmoha: Can you check the stages for what ratio was used? |

Thanks a lot!
I'm stunned. Such a win goal race is much more as I could have imagined. It's only two stages into the race but the gaps are massive. Of course, after the stage is before the stage, the next stage is always the most important one and it ain't over until the fat lady sings but the race so far is once again incredible. Two stages in a row is very cool and add the great position in GC, points classification and KoM this is on the way to another great race.
Kinda a pity that many of the obvious favourites lost that much. That should normally not happen but I can't complain too much about it. I just hope that this will not happen again on the next stages.
On the other side, it is good to see that the break was once again caught very very early. Until now, that wasn't a big problem and with the big GC gaps no more dangerous riders should be allowed to join it.

Ah, the irony that the H/M ratio ended up being incorrect in the stages used. Stage 2 the most notable with a rating that made the Hill stat irrelevant, but ratios were also making Stage 1 and Stage 4 more mountain stages than hill stages. Stage 4 no longer an issue, at least.
Will need to decide at which point to restart the race from, but clearly there will now be further delays on this race.
They're not in a position to be shared right now, as they are currently all plain roads with no cities/scenery.

Good decision to restart in my opinion. As SN said, this should be a race for the puncheurs, not the climbers.
Apparently stage 1 was also affected? In that case a full restart would be needed I guess.

Meh
Dont like to say this ( due to how my team performed ) but I must admit that it probably was the right decision as the race / stage two obviously was affected extremely by those wrong ratios. Stage one results looked okay so I was surprised it was affected as well?
Will this race be moved backwards in the calendar now like it was done with a race ( was it tour of middle east? ) last year or will the rest of the calendar wait for Czech to be re-raced?

I doubt we will wait for this once, since it needs to be raced/reported first. Which obviously didn't happen yet
I'm sorry for you, knockout. But something went wrong and we noticed it too late. A couple of hours wasted for me, a few moments of joy (and pain) for you guys.

Good to know that it won't slow down the awesome pace we have so far.
And you don't have to be sorry for me (just yet). Let's first see what the replay brings. Until then, you are the only one to be sorry for due to your reporting efforts.

I believe this is already our last goal of the season bar the standings, so a top 5 here is absolutely crucial. I sent McCarthy with his absolute best support team, and the course should definitely suit him, so I'm thinking even a podium should be very possibly. A shame he lost some valuable seconds to LLS and TAWK on stage 1 already, but there's still alot of time to change that!
On a side note, I'm done with my catch up - no more spamming the front page with old discussions for the moment.

The race needs to be re-played right from the scratch, so stage one's results don't count anyway. Will remove the report from the results page now.
