Looking trough this, the only thing my team managed to do was try 1 breakaway (happy about Egger for that..). HC-races hasn't been a great amount of points for us...

7-8-12-19 is at least decent points but I am still really disappointed. Quite frankly it just was not a particularly interesting race.
Thanks for the reports FD.

Not the very best race for you. But I guess you clearly extended the gap to my fail race here. |

In the end we have managed 16 PPRD here in the race that probably suited us the least it was a huge gamble to send Bellis here all things considered but it's slightly paid off points wise assuming Boily can cover the 2 races Bellis did not go to. also 4/5 in the breaks and some good points for youngster Van Zyl, Naud and Boros
Great wins for Risa and Azteca
and top reports FroomeDog really great. |

I thought we would do better here, but we netted 97 points so this was not a fail.
Matti Breschel is having his worst season. He just continues to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He lost 10 places on the stage 5 split & Kenny DeHaes lost 8 places. On the upside Formolo got I the break and hung on for 2nd place. His monster effort allowed the team to place 3rd and earn an additional 10 points and his 16 points for placing 2nd on the day.
On to the Hilly races next and Dieter Mehr-Wenige and Ian Boswell need to be consistently in the top 10.

Wow this turned out to be a pretty reasonable race for us. Stage win + KoM jersey + top15 was all that deemed achievable! It's mindblowing how a race like this happens to be one of the best events of our season
I actually enjoyed the racing, despite it not being as straitforwrd as you'd wish.
Congrats Risa and thanks FD

Shame Pozzato couldn't deliver in the semi hilly sprints, but he still finished top 5 so can't complain. Also nice GC performance by Oss.
Thanks for the reports FD. And congrats to Risa!

Hmm, that last stage sure was interesting.
But I'd rather have a sprint
Well this turned out to be a decent race for us. We grabbed some good points although we'd hoped to grab a bunch more! (More GC points ideally)
