Well at the end of the day, Quintana is now officially the best climber in the peloton. At least until next year.

So Quintana lost the tour on Stage 2. Who would have thunk it?
the Tour is decided by dutch land and riders \o/ (look at poels)
that it decide in favor of an kenyan is a dissapointment though

valiant effort by Quintana but in the end it was a deserved victory for Fromme. Great win by Pinot as well. I would give the tour a rating of 7/10
I don't know what was so deserved after Nairo lost the Tour in the first week. |

Calling it now; Poels for 2017 Tour.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Beautiful willpower by Pinot.
Quintana godlike performance.
Poels and Porte won/Saved the Tour victory unreal performances.
And Froome not a fan, but have always said i love his humbleness and polightness towards Press, medias and fans. Congratz |

The funny thing is, Froome is in another league in the first mountain chain, why Quintana is in the last one. The exact same way as in 2013 which goes to show that Nairito is riding smart and above all, has godlike recovery, while Froome on the other hand steadily is declining, but has extreme amount of power at 100% before the exhaustion hits.

lol the TDF was not lost in Holland. Those haters caused Froome to ride on back foot. He would have absoloutely killed them on PdB wo scrutiny. It would have been AX-3=PSM Ventoux=PdB, Froome always trys to get a huge gap so if Quintana was only 1 min down from PSM Froome would have went crazy in the 2nd week. Froome was the best this TDF great in the first week, many fools said he would not even reach the mountains, yet he proved them wrong and was the best wk 1. |

Did Quintana lose time due to a mech or bad placement? If it was placement HE HAS TO make sure he is at the front at all times. That is what Froome did and that is why he won. |

Great effort by Quintana, shame it wasn't enough.
Looks like Simon Yates rode away from the Nibali/Contador group at the end

I really wish they had the Aspen and Galibier instead of croix de fer.

whut, a breakaway top 10.
don't think Zubeldia even done a top 10 that way
to be fair, only the top 7 aren't breakaway riders

Tbh I feel much better about Froome now after that stage. Seeing him for once not totally dominant makes him more likeable. |
