Fun fact: Movistar doesn't exist only to beat Froome or help Contador. They have two potential podium spots to win.
No, definetely. Im probably the most vivid Valverde supporter in here and I love him for that. I love him getting into small fights against Rodriguez, like last years Vuelta, and Contaor. But still, objectively, the smartest move had to be to wait and see what Sky did. If they gave him over 1 minute or so, they could begin to do their stuff. But I didnt watch that particular moment, so, yeah.
Its definetely not that bad of a move as some people say in here. |

Well, I guess most in here dont like Movistar and in particular, dont like Sky, which would explain why they want Sky to suffer. Still a long way to go, lets see. |

Alpes Maritime and Alpes Haute Provence are beautiful. Shame they come here only once every 5 years.

Because the thing that matters the most is the yellow jersey and when you have a chance for it you pursue it rather than hoping for a 2-3. I would be mad if I had my team finish from 2nd to 10th but doesn't take the first spot! |

I asked if Movistar was Movitarding since I didnt watch it and wanted to know what was going on since the forum said so..... anyways, If you have read just a few of my comments, you would know Movistar by far is my favorite team. So yeah, whatever, I simply just tried to be somewhat objective which I struggle at when it comes to Movistar which I have been bashed for several times in here. |

It clear they don't have shots against Froome. Why not to keep they team riders 2-3. Who knows..we did see what happened to TvG today.
Simple calculation.
If I wont win I do not want 2nd. place is just childiss |

Fun Fact: 2nd and 3rd means jack shit when a rider like Quintana puts all their eggs in the win basket....
How is that so damn hard to understand?
Like Riis said, it would have made more sense to relax and let Team sky use their strength if they wanted to ride Contador in or let Valverde attack also and shake the Sky tree.
But Moviestar is Moviestar and seem to run on Movietards strategy. |

Sagan wanted to give the sprint and the money to Degenkolb (Sagan on his own has earned more than any other team this tour ) but Vaugrenard really pissed them off.

Do not be worried..they try something against Sky.(it wont probably work).
Let's fuck attack our brains out..and will be dropped on final climb!!! How stupid can that be..
Or let Contador go..he is also spaniard let him take a podium place..he is nice person.
How is that so damn hard to understand? Come back to reality man..this is not the game. |

Do you know what Froome looks like on rainy descents?!! Today is their chance! And they have to use it. Also, Froome's shape will decline - did you see him 2 years ago: absolutely no difference regarding the storyline of the TdF! They're acting like cowards. "The Winner Takes It ALL" |

I guess you never played any sport or just do not have a winning instinct.
2nd or any other place for someone who wants to win means nothing and thinking like you say here "oh Froome is too strong but he might get sick" is childish
Rather try and lose then lose and not try at all. Like Contador seems to be doing today, attacking and testing sky and not just sitting back and counting on Froome to have a bad day. |

Yeaah I knew also Froome at cobbles..
This year he let Tony Martin go..other wise he was capable for stage win also there.
Contador sadly has no legs to test anything... he has just big heart/ fighting spirit left

I hope you are right that Moviestar will try something else than just riding for Team Sky... But it doesnt look good, it looks like Quintana is counting on Froome to have a bad day on a uphill finish and then strike there. |
