In 2013 there was a cyclist viewer where you can choose the equipement like frame and wheels and so to see how it appears in game. Don't know if this is in 2014. |

It is, but if you have not used it before, it can be very difficult to get to grips with (especially when you have the option of opening a base where it is just some floating glasses... WHY!!)

Well, could create a guide how to use the cyclist viewer if there is need, but I only have PCM 2013 and I don't know the differences to the 2014 one. |

Ok, I give it a try:
1. Open CTCyclistEditorApp.exe, it is in the folder where you installed the game.
2. Now you have a blue screen with File, Edit, View, Debug, Shortcuts in the top left corner of the window. Go to File -> New
3. A new window will open where you can create the specific cyclist you want to see.
Meshes:
"Cyclist Mesh": Just choose the first option "CTk_XXXX... .kfm.
"Frame": Here you can choose a frame from the frame folder in ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Equipments\Frames. It is like all sorted alphbetical so simply choose the one you want to see.
"Helmet": The same as "Frames" just from ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Equipments\Helmets.
"Front Wheel"/"Rear Wheel": same, ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Equipments\Wheels
"Glasses": same, ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Equipments\Glasses
_____
Textures:
"Team": You have to write the name of the folder with the jerseys (not the name of the jersey) of team you want the cyclist to wear the jersey from. For example if the team is Europcar then you have to look for their jersey folder in ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team, in my case "2013_euc".
"Race": Here you can to enter the name of a race if you want your cyclist to wear a specific leader jersey. The race name can be found in ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Race, just copy the name of the jersey without "_maillot_time" or "_maillot_young" or so. For example if you want to have a leader jersey from the Critérium du Dauphiné look for it in the folder and copy the name (without the _ stuff), which is in my case "dauphinelibere". To choose between the different leader jerseys you have to look for the column called "Shirt" two rows down and select the race leader classification you want to have the jersey from.
"Country": Here you have to write the shortcut of the country if you want to be the cyclist a national champion. You have to select "Classif_National(ITT)" in the column "Shirts". Nation shortcuts can be found in ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Country.
"Skin": Enter the name of a cyclist found in ...\PCM 2013\3D\Cyclists\Body
"Shirt": To choose between different types of leader jerseys from the team select in the beginning. This is connected to "Team", "Race", "Country".
"Clothing": If the rider shall wear handles, corsair and leggings you can choose it here.
"Dossard": This is the starting number on the back of the cyclist. If leave it free you can see the part of the jersey thats normally covered by the starting number in game.
"Professional": Sorry, I don't know what this is for.
"Height"/"Weight": Well, pretty much says it all, the measurements of the cyclist.
"Skin Color": For changing the, hmm, the skin color of the cyclist a bit.
If you are fine with the stuff you choosed (there is no need to file in every column, just the ones you want to see) press "OK" to create the cyclist.
4. The cyclist is now in the middle of the velodrom and you can have a close look at him by using the middle mouse button and scrolling in and out. You can use the keyboard as well to move up and down, right and left, back and forth. If you are happy with it, you can save under File -> Save to view your cyclist faster.
5. "View": Here you can choose whether the cyclist shall pedal or celebrate a victory and add or change the settings you choosed by creating the cyclist and some other things.
"Lighting Parameters": I normally leave it how it is, never really tested it.
"Animation": Here you can choose the way the cyclist pedaling, celebrating, crashing and so on. It is also possible to change the "Animation Speed" if you want to slow it down or go faster.
"Equipment": If you want to add or change the frame, helmet, wheels, and glasses youcan do it here.
"Texture": For adding or changing team, jersey, measurements, skin color of the cyclist.
"Cyclist Size": Cyclist size
"Cyclist LOD": No clue what this is for.
"Shoot Equipement": Here you have the option to have a close look at specific parts of the equipement. For example if you want to have a close up of one of the wheels just deselect all other except the front wheel. Now you can use mouse and keyboard to get a closer look. You can also change the background color and light direction if you want to.
6. "Edit -> Select": No clue again.
7. "Debug": And again.
8. "Shortcuts": Just for changing the the atmosphere a bit like enabling shadows.

I hope this helps and is understandable. Sorry for my english. |
