Then totally forget about my comment.
CT is much better informed in these things.

So I can just add riders? I think the tables are similar to those on DYN_cyclist, so I put the 0 and those things too?

Yes, it's almost similar to DYN_cyclist, so the same "rules" count.

I don't understand the first question.
The year is set in GAM_config.

Thanks. I was asking for what tables should I open to complete my editing work. And should I keep, in DYN_cyclist the medium value or set it to zero? I've changed the notations but I saved and exported and, when I reopened, I had another values!

I have edited the DB, following your advice and the instructions at the beginning of this post but I have some problems. I am doing a BETA test, using some old shirts from Cyanide forum, and I've changed the name of the shirts to the name I have in DYN_team; but I only have Australian champion, WC and Quickstep shirts. I put all them in TGA format, so I don't know what's happening

I have a strange problem: my game is now without variants. I mean, some of the routes are the same through years. Where I can modify this back?

I've made a huge mistake while editing the favourite races for some cyclist, i.e. i filled with an invalid number. Now the converter doesn't open me the dyn_cyclist abd the game crashes;
Can someone get me out of this situation?

You can open the DB with the Full Editor and fix the problem.

What do u mean with full editor?
I know only the Hannes Converer, the Hannes Editor and the Editor that comes with the game.
Ok, I've found the full editor, but I can't figure how it works...
Thanks in advance

Copy the .cdb file to the Database folder of the Full Editor. Open the Full Editor. Select it in the list, give it a name in the right text box, hit import.

I want to add a WC variant for Barcelona + Geraardsbergen for PCM10. This is the only thing I found on search, but this makes no sense whatsoever to me.
CrueTrue wrote:
Variants are added with xml files that can be opened with Notepad - no DB editing is required.
Open up Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/CM_Stages/variant. You will notice that there are two types of files: those ending with .descr and those ending with .rules.
The .rules file defines when each variant is used. The .descr file is a description of the route, stage-by-stage, including the file name and the stage settings (wind, time gap, mountain/hill ratio etc.).
To add a variant, copy the .descr file and give it a new number (if you're copying a file called _03.descr, name the new one 04_descr). Fill out the details for each stage. When done, open the .rules file.
Now, there are two ways of deciding which variant to be used. If you want the same variants to be used year after year, set the same number in VariantMin and VariantMax. For example, if you want your variant to be used, set it to 4.
If you want a random selection of one of the four variants, set it to 1 in VariantMin and 4 in VariantMax.
I'm not sure how familiar you are with editing, but try opening the two files and see how it works out for you. If you need any additional help, feel free to ask again.

Is there a way to change the point where the sprint begins? Like, in flat stages it begins with 3 kms left, in mountain, with 1 km, can I change this value? Thx

What's the best way to edit from DB to DB? I mean, copying whole lines to another DB? I've found that using the excel on folder 'Exports' from Full Editor might work, anyone could confirm that please? Thanks in advance.
Edit: some more when trying to add a team (DYN_team):
- What does gene_licID_trademark, abbreviation and shortname means? Why does some teams have it and others have a 0 on it?
- Jersey_sz_abbreviation is the name of the folder in CM_textures/cycliste/team, right?
- What does 'Constant' mean?
- Equipment number can be found in STA_equipment, right? But which table is the number? Because I've seen negative numbers for equipment on DYN_team...
- Where can I see the type of rider (for type_rider_orientation) and the gene_ilist_young_area? Lastly, fkIDcalendar is the number on STA_calendar, right?
Thx again.

Excel is definitely a nice thing to copy whole tables or half tables. I just recognized that you must check it in the end if everything is on the right slot. Because of some empty parts in the table everything was put one too far left. So I had to move it manually again. But it`S definitely working after exporting with the full editor and Excel.
I could try to explain most of the other terms but I might be wrong with some of them, so someone better informed might have to give it a try.

1. The licensing thing is only used by Cyanide, I think. I never noticed it having any impact.
2. Yes.
3. It differs from table to table. In DYN_team, it doesn't have any relevance.
4. It's the marque number in STA_equipment.
5. As a general rule: If there's something named fkIDsomethingsomething, there's usually a table called STA_somethingsomething with the definitions. The young rider areas can be found in STA_newrider_area. And yes, fkIDcalendar refers to STA_calendar.
And Excel is indeed the best way to convert DBs.

Thanks for the answers =)
But now I have a new problem: I've added the team + 1 rider (writing the line by hand in F.E., used Excel only to get the info), but when I hit export it crashes on exporting xml to cdb.. a window appears saying 'DatabaseXML.exe stopped working'.. if I click cancel or waits till that window closes itself, the F.E. will continue opened and say 'All tables done', but there is no new DB in the folder.
I've triple checked the lines I've added, none of them are empty neither have 'strange' numbers, I mean, all numbers are also in other teams lines.
What could be the problem? Thanks.
Edit: continued testing. Deleted the rider by hand from the xml file in Exports folder, still did not work. Deleted the team, worked. I'll try to add the rider again (me dumb forgot to backup before deleting him) and see if it works. But it's very strange, because nothing seemed to be wrong with the team. By the way, I did a backup of the team DB info, so if anyone wants to look for an error, I can upload it.
Edit 2: I just noticed I did the backup of the wrong team. This proves how dumb can I be =P
Another update: re-added the team and now it worked, yeah!
