Now there's seems to be some confusion as the jury doesn't know if it was Sagan or indeed Nibali, lol We have to wait to get confirmed reseults.

Uhm, no in Córdoba Nibali wouldn't have won the stage anyway.
Here, Sagan just actively prevented Nibali from winning the GC.

He lost the bonus seconds there. And it was much more of a fail because there were 3 liqui guys and Lastras for 3 places with bonus seconds.

Pretty good TT for Gesink with 7:06, faster than Piti and Menchov and tied with S.Sánchez. Looks like he's recovered pretty well from his injury.

Nice win by Kittel once again. Cav is definitely suffering, also he's been pulled out of KBK next week. Happy for Gesink, seems to recovered well and in time. Nibali must be little bit furious he lost the GC by a second and with this manner

I don't doubt it, but... it's only early season shitty small races like Cav' would call them. I'm still looking forward to seeing him 1) against elite sprinters in top condition 2) sprinting at the end of 200+ km classics/stages
But, so far, he's got the sheer speed for sure, and he probably has the potential to do well in the aforementioned conditions.

Winning in Tour of Oman doesnt really make you a elite level sprinter imo. So if he was before then he obv still is, if he wasnt before, he still isnt just because of some wins in a race like Oman.

Don't forget he won a vuelta stage too. He's already among the best sprinters imo.
