Hmm, completely forgot about Hainan...for obvious reasons. Should have remembered Japan and Chrono Des Nations though...

There's the 2.2 Volta de São Paulo which started today Where the riders have to wake up at 5am, in order to depart at 7h30 and reach the finish at 10am (because of TV I think)

Is that the race where the riders ended up in a traffic jam a couple years back?

Honestly I haven't heard of that one, there's little information from the older races but I wouldn't be much surprised if it is

It's happened a couple times in the last few years when the organizers badly messed up their timing predictions and the police couldn't control it. Once was in the Tour of Korea, I'm almost entirely sure, and I'm also pretty certain it happened in S.A., and Sao Paulo seems a likely place for a race to run into a traffic jam

I sometimes start work at 5 AM (meaning I have to wake up at 4 AM). Now that's inhuman.

Tomorrow is the last race in European Tour. Chrono de Nations.
Martin, Phinney, Froome, Kessiakof, Cataldo, Porte, Larsson, Chavanel, Bodrogi and Roy are the big names starting.
It's should be a Phinney - Martin duel. Intresting how Froome will do though.

Good to see the Chrono des Nations getting a strong field. I wouldn't expect much from Froome, he's on the way down since August.

Agreed. Can't see Martin losing this. Phinney's been good, but I think Tony will romp.

Provisional Japan Cup results:
1. Basso (Liquigas)
2. Martin (Garmin)
3. Majka (Saxo)
4. Julian Moreno (Nippo)
5. Meier (GreenEdge)
If you had to look Julian Moreno up, don't worry I did too.

That's what CQ was reporting and you know... in this age of doping products and with Basso winning
