I'm doing a pro-cyclist career where I've just reached my third season. Between first and second season I went from a PCT to a WT team, so I raced a lot of different races. Now however, I'm going to do the same Giro d'Italia that I won the year before. Is there any way to get a different route into the same save-game?
Yes, you can do it for future seasons, either by installing a variant pack in the downloads section (like the WT 2010-2015 variants) or one of the EP ones.
You can also add your own races into CM_Stages with the name topclass_Giro_Stage Number_Variant Name.

Thanks for your help. I've downloaded the WT2010-2015 from steam, but I still get the same Giro d'Italia. I've been reloading from a weekly save from the end of november, but the next season still has the same Giro. Anything I'm doing wrong?

Oops, found it. I just had bad luck. Used the DB editor to edit my save game and change it to the 201X variant. Thanks!
Several variants come with the 2016 Expansion Pack, so I'd reccomed downloading that. You even have the option to only install the variants and not the rest of the package so there ya go
