Hopefully I haven't put in James' tactics too late. This is the perfect race for him

I'm opening the sheet to start the race right now. (though it'll take a while to write)
Please do include your rider's name when posting in the Game Thread. I don't know every user's rider and vice versa, so it's necessary you make a banner or just write his name at the top or something
EDIT: much better! Thanks for quick fix

Well, the report is up. I fear it's way too long but I couldn't make it any shorter
It's packed with action!

Nice 4th position by Mazzarelli, even though I was already celebrating the impending victory...
But I really like his perseverant instinct

Another 25th place. Very consistent at least, though I hoped he'd do a bit better on a course that would suit him I suppose.
At least it's 1-1 now. Take that, Hakinnen

Muller!!! A Namibian in the Top 10
A great performance, easily beating Starc.

Also, keep the feedback coming. Some of you probably don't read the report at all (and I can understand that, if you only play this from a distance, you can't spend so much time on it) but for those who do read the report: do you think it's too long, too detailed, is it good?
Personally, I could even make it longer. But if it's too long, I'll try to make it more general next time and avoid little details. Let me know

Report Feedback: Not too long but would be nice to have a few updates about things going on at the back of the race and in the middle. Basically anywhere outsode the Top 10. Cause you understandably focus on the Top 5-8 riders.

It's only too long if it becomes too much of an effort for you, imo. For me, it's nice to see the details because it means more chance of a passing mention for one of my riders.
And I found it interesting to follow the race for the win, even with no link to the riders or not really knowing who's is who. That was Shonak v Smowz for the win wasn't it?

I read most, I skimmed a bit that thats just me. That was really unfortunate for Nicky, Max and Koga. Any word on Max's injury?

Yes, Shonak vs Smowz basically
Though I don't know half the riders (well, who they belong to, I mean, which user).
I wanted to include more from the background and middle, but I was afraid it'd be way too long then, I'll try to include some info on that occasionally, though. Though this was also a profile with a lot going on. On other profiles, with less action, I might include more about the background!
I hope that in a few weeks, we'll all know the main players and can follow the race, knowing the main characters
@Cycleman: unfortunately sport isn't as easy as that. You can send a tactic, but if he can't do it, he can't do it. Otherwise you could just send a tactic: James should ride solo all the race and win. He wanted to follow but if he ain't got it in the legs
