Nice read Ian, what I don't enjoy are the results
Sort of expected a not so great performance from Matt, but Carlisle extends his UCI gap, while Gormley and Vague are geting nearer and nearer... Hmm, well, he's so used to the 6th place that he won't be disappointed anyway

Great piece by Shonak on the upcoming Kwaremont cross and also amazing lap by lap insights by Bauer from jandal7!

Who's got a date with history in the Kwaremont Cross? Will Cook withstand Lipawsky for the Superprestige? Who cracks on the stones of the Kwaremont and who doesn't? Find out on Thursday!

Mhm, judging by the last sentence, it seems that Cookie Monster is finally pleased to have found his place in Cyclo-Cross.

Really Really Sorry I wasn't here, but really happy with Sylvain winning the World Champs (haven't read more yet, I may edit this post) but I wasn't here because I lost internet, then I went away for a few days (I would've been here for the worlds though).
Sorry Ian and Go Sylvain I'll get back up to date now with an extra long post by Sylvain.

No problem Looking forard to that post!
I really hope I can do the race today, but I'll have to find time, because I leave for France late in the evening.
I might have internet there, but either way I won't have much time there. So the best you can expect in the next 7 days is the race report today (I'm doing my best) and a race preview somewhat in the next few days from France

Yeah, I know
But it's for my grandma, to get her away for a few days, she's having a hard time
But I desperately hope to find a good stream of the Ronde Van Vlaanderen, or else my Sunday will be quite ruined

Same as trek, I mean, I had internet but not that much time to write a Matt-standard blog post. Gonna write one after the next race, sure, will be a long one

Before the race report later today, another piece of history, for those interested
And, yes, my history is usually about the same riders, that's because I've thought about the history in that period a lot more than others don't worry, though, other stories will surface sooner or later, too!

Very nice piece once more, I like the depth of the world really much and really impressive. Kwaremont Cross seems to be really the most prestigious race, despite not being a classic.

Yes, I've mirrored it a bit towards the real life Koppenbergcross, which is also Superprestige and Nys' World Championsihp (as he said many times before)
Glad you liked it. Report probably up this evening. But first, packing my suitcase

Very interesting piece, now I really can't wait for the report!

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

What the fuck Gonna red the whole report in a sec, I'm having dinner and I just looked at the result and I'm not sure if I'm blind or it is the truth

interesting result, gratz to matti, hope he doesn't become the next gasthuys though
Nice report though, I'm looking forward to some reactions.
Also, I've received two sets of nominations for my (in-game) awards, keep them coming, I'll do them on final weekend!

Thanks For those who still have to read it: hope you like the report!
Also, I planned on doing riders awards at the end of the season, but I think it's better to just do jandal7's awards now! So send in your nominations between now and the final weekend of the season!
I might do a small award 'ceremony' of myself, too, after all, but then non-democratic
@jandal7: so you plan to collect nominations now and then open up for voting - when? At the final weekend of the season? Then everyone can vote until right before the 2nd season, I guess?
@Matt: I know, it seems so unreal, right?

Yeah voting will be open from final weekend just incase something happens. Then I'll probably do the ceremony when I have time *secret wink to Ian* and once all the main players (me, you, Shonak, Smowz, trek, Matt, SN, TMM, Selwink) have told me their votes or haven't voted, but it also depends on your schedule with S2, I would rather not do it during sign-ups if they get busy again, so we can communicate on that.
