Posting Screenshots Properly
By: TheManxMissile | Average Rating: 4.22 | Game version: PCM13 How to take a Screenshot
1) With PCM13 it's nice and easy, just press Ctrl + T. For previous versions this does not work for all in-game sections.
2) You can clean up the screenshot by first pressing Ctrl + U to remove the GUI and/or by pressing Ctrl + # to remove all remaining OSD graphics
3) Now you have a .PNG file saved to My Documents > Pro Cycling Manager 2013 > Users > "username" > Screenshots
4) .PNG's can be slow to load if there are lots of them on a page, so the next step is to convert the files to the smaller .JPG file tyep
5) Download a Picture Converter. Google search "Picture Converter" and the 9th result is the one i use (correct at time of typing), but there are a number of free converters available. Alternatively you can change the file type using Photoshop, Paint.NET or GIMP, but a full Converter allows you to convert multiple files with one click
6) Now you have a .JPG file saved wherever you linked the converter to, and that location is up to you.
7) Make a free Photobucket account. There are other sites like Imageshack, but i find Photobucket the easiest to use and best, and is the most popular used by all the best story writers.
8) Upload your .JPG to Photobucket. This should be obvious, click Upload and follow the instructions. You can explore the site on your own.
9) However do this step! Go to User Settings > Albums > then untick the "Link Back to Albums" option. This means you can just copy and past the image url's to site without the image hyperlinking back to Photobucket if clicked. It allows users to click and enlarge the image to see it better
10) Copy the image url. Right click on the image and Copy Image Location.
11) Go to PCM.Daily and paste the link into the reply box.
12) Highlight the link and then click the "Displays image from given URL address". The code will look like this

Nice job, very well done.
Is this the one you mean? I don't find it that good, but maybe the 9th one has changed? Image Converter
Personally I use different converter, and I find imageshack much better, (photobucket doesn't get half my photos) but even so, well done, I know your view is the most popular.
No that link is not the one i use. It was accurate at time of writing, but i can't edit it now.
I don't like Imageshack because of how it links the image on the site, with 90% of the images linking back to Imageshack or being too small to read.
#3 But if you don't copy direct link it links you back to site. This tip shows you how to get around that using Photobucket.
Upload failure i don't know... Might be connection issues, such as drop out or speed. Might be upload format issues. Basically i don't really know, nor have i encoutered any problems myself
I use GIMP actually. There is a batch converter included in GIMP, so that you can convert as many pictures at the same time as you want.
Plus you have lots of extra possibilities like resize, sharpening, lighting, contrast etc. which can be set for all pictures.
