Adding Riders into an existing career
By: The Hobbit | Average Rating: 4.00 | Game version: PCM12
As the description says, this is a short tip which adds on to the existing one which you must follow an then add on these things.
The reason my last tip was so easy to follow is because when you start the career the game worked out all contracts and potentials for you, (this happens in that big time the game spends loading at the start). However if the career is already existing then it won't have this phase so your riders will not be anywhere near as good as they could be.
As a little note, this is the way I do things but not necessarily the best possible solution as there may be extra parts I have left out or do not know about, just thought I'd help as much as I can. if you know something else please post it below, as I for one hate not knowing the whole story!
The first thing you will see that's different is the contract ID. You will need to make a contract in the contract cyclist column. There you simply need to do a few pieces of data for each rider. You must say who the contract is for, what team they are at, how much they are being paid, (in euros) and how long it is for. Make a note of the contract ID and put it in the right place in the riders section.
The next place I know of ATM (I'm AFK at time of writing so I can.'t check) is in the rider type menu. I believe that the game eventually works out what type of rider they are, but until then you may as well put in what you intend them to be.
Then you move onto the dreaded stats! This time instead of just doing current stats you must do capitals and potentials too. Capital is how fast they develop, and it ranges from single figures to the hundreds, again I believe this varies but in the meantime I would put a starter figure in. Potential is just the max stat of all kinds, so put in how good you want them to be when they're at their best.
You might want to give them a schedule (again not sure if the game gives them it itself) so their form works out right. This is the same for trainers, not necessary but helpful. Another thing which is important is fitness, if you don't give it a value they will have zero form, so maybe 50-70 as a start.
I have experience with adding riders to an existing career, and the only way I got it to work was to change some random U23s with a low potential and let them join at august 1
Your writings stick out to me since the content is interesting and simple to understand. Even though I've read a lot of websites, I still like yours more. Your essay was interesting to read. I can understand the essay better now that I've read it carefully infinite craft free game. In the future, I'd like to read more of your writing.
It's interesting how adding riders can feel like a game of strategy, almost like taking the rice purity test - you find out a lot about your choices along the way!
