Adding a rider

Lots of people add riders into their database, either as part of a story, a mimic of yourself, an overpowered all 85 rider, or something else.

The first thing you will need to do is open up Lachi's editor.
Then extract the database. If this is your first time using Lachi's editor then it should show you automatically to the right place, if not it is documents, pro Cycling manager 2012/13/11/xx, mod database, then click on one of your choice.
If you want to edit a rider into your own career you've started before then instead of mod, database it is users, <name>, database, solo <the database you've used> the career it is.
You then click on DYN_cyclist you can either scroll through the columns or pick C cyclists on the 6 options to the right.
Scroll down to the bottom and you will find an empty row.
Click on the gene sz lastname.
Type a letter.
It will take a second or two as th game turns this into a proper row, an ID is also automatically created.
Then continue to type the name.
The next column is first name, then first initial.surname.
Then choose from a drop down which team he will ride for. If not team choose 119- not 0--- or the game will become weird.
Leave contract and photo blank, unless you have placed a photo in he right place already and named it.
In birthdate type yearmonthday without spaces. If your rider is a big name you can give him a popularity score, but generally leave it, he can still become popular.
Give him a potential of 1-8 8 being best, this means later you do not have to worry about manmanaging his abilities yourself, the game will do it for you.
Do not give him an average ability, it will be calculated by the game when you run a career. Next choose the region/country he comes from, if it is country it is an abbreviation, sometimes it is hard to tell what matches to what country and I do not know how to check.
Say his rider status is free, unless you want him to start injured,
Leave everything as it is until nationalism, this is how well he performs in his home country, up to 3. Next choose his height and weight. After that is age of decline, this decides when your rider stops developing and starts declining.
You can give him favoured temperature and weather, the codes can be found in sta temperatures 1- lowest 7-highest.
Next is stats, only fill in charac I <stat> as capitals and potentials will be handled by the game! unless you want direct control on exactly how he develops, in which case potential is the limit of his growth.
Charisma doesn't really do anything so about 55 is right. Then leave it all blank mental moral, the game handles the rest. Make mental moral about 50, then leave blank till hidden pro, social, media. This is meant to sustain the mental side of your rider, but I don't think it has much effect. 2 is probably right. Nothing else really needs to be filled in.

Maybe worth mentioning that if you add a rider in to an existing career, potential has no effect and you have to set the stat limits yourself, AFAIK.

How could when I created a rider put him with glasses? Because all the riders I created they don't use glasses on races.
