Editing your rider back in the race
By: Selwink | Average Rating: 4.38 | Game version: PCM12
First of all, most importantly, you back-up your savegame!!
Second of all, credits go to Atlantius for teaching me the basics
Now the real editing can begin:
First of all, open or extract your savegame.
In DYN_Cyclist you edit the following columns:
Race (Fast editor) or fkIDRace (Other editors): Enter the race or ID of the race (can be found in STA_Race)
race_b_withdrawal: Untick or fill in a 0
In DYN_team_race you do the following:
Find your team and race or ID of team and race. For example, in my Giro story with Europcar: the ID of my team is 25, of the Giro its 135.
In gene_ilist_roster you enter (the ID of) your rider.
In DYN_classification_race you do the following:
Once again, you look for race and rider (ID). Per cyclist in race there are 3 or 4 IDs. 1st is for the GC, 2nd for the points, 3rd for the KoM and the 4th for -25 (so not for every rider). In fkIDClassification_state (Classification state in Fast editor) you enter either TIME (Fast editor) or 1 (other editors), also for points and KoM. In gene_i_value of points and KoM you simply enter the amount of points for the rider.
If time in the GC doesnt matter, you just take a random high number, higher than the last in the GC and fill that in. If it does matter, you take a rider who was close in the GC and copy his gene_i_value to your gene_i_value. Rank or gene_i_rank is not important, because it will be corrected immediately after the stage. Gene_i_classification_stage is only important if you want to watch stage results back and editing is practically the same as in gene_i_classification_race
The last to edit is DYN_Race_Status.
This is not very difficult: First you find your race. Here there should be a column with fkID_Cyclist or just Cyclist. Of the empty ones or the ones with zero, you look for the one with your team. In the correct fkIDCyclist you fill in (the ID of) your cyclist. For fkIDsimulate_status you fill in 4 or Leader for leader, 2 or Electron for free role, 3 or Sprinter for sprinter and 1 or equipier for team mate.
Now if you go to the next race, your rider may not have appeared in the pre-race screen, but in my experiences, he has always been there in the race
Hello Selwink, i hope you see this, because it's almost 10 years ago hahaha.
But i have trouble with PCM 2020, when i do this with Andrea Bagioli in the Giro (i'm not playing with Quick-step, but i want enough cyclist in every team), the same for Bora, then he wil be in the race but not under Quick-step, he will be under a new Quick-step. So there are two Quick-steps, i will send you a picture of it.
And second he is not seen in the classement.
Do i something wrong?

Fantastic stuff, this may be very useful, however at the moment I'm stuck on other things. I'm struggling to write a personal statement and am not sure how to approach it correctly. I need it so badly since it will determine my future job. However, I'm not sure how to effectively showcase my abilities so that the commission will take note. I thus turned to a personal statement writing agency. With any luck, this would help me land a solid offer.
