Building a new scouting area
By: Gaffeff | Average Rating: 3.75 | Game version: PCM12
Still in development.
Open the local folder in an editor. Add a new line and enter the name of your scouting area in as many languages as you see fit. The IDlocalised_string and CONSTANT fields must be unique.
Make a note of the IDlocalised_string and CONSTANT that you use. You will need them later.
 Flag - TBC.
 Save changes.
Open the main database you wish to use in an editor. (i.e. PCMdaily2013DB).
Add a new line. In CONSTANT use the one you created earlier.
In GENE_strID_name create a unique code and note.
In country pick the country the region is part of.
In fkClimate, pick the climate that you want in your region.
In gene_b_europa, tick if the region is in europe.
Weight is the chance of any riders coming from that region at all. i.e. 3 for flanders is high, 2 for UK, 1 for most, 0 for none.
gene_i_pos_x, and y are the x and y coordinates (remember graphs in school) for the button on the scouting screen.
Gene_f_chance_pot0 to 7 are the chances of riders of that potential (combined they must add up to 100)
Gene_f_rider_tour to flat: chance of these rider types (see STA_type_rider for explanation) again combined they must add to 100.
Gene_f_chance_temp_x is the chance of the rider liking these weather types. (See STA_temperatures for meaning). Combined these must add up to 1.
 local_temp_count set to 0.
You now have a new scouting region, enjoy.Home | Submit a new Tip & Trick
Wow, thanks man! I tried to do this, looking at promising riders, but I didn't know how to sign them. Nice tip!
