That damn 10%! Your hill sprint guide
By: NTTHRASH | Average Rating: 1.28 | Game version: PCM12
Assuming you know what Il Lombardia's finish is like, I shall now train you in the ways of hilltop (not mountaintop) finishes.
STEP 1: Bring all 7 riders to the front and put all but your desired winner at 50 "Set Effort" dot.
STEP 2: You're at the foot of what I'll model as a 5km, 8-10% hill. The former 6 now increase effort to 65.
STEP 3: About 3km left on the hill, force the worst(least likely to win) and 2nd worst at Sprint as soon as you are allowed to. Also, you will make your 4 left at 70, and your winner at 55 dot.
STEP 4: 2km to go, 3 more now sprinting, and one at 99 dot. Your most likely to win should just start to be enveloped by the pack, so bump the number to 65.
STEP 5: Your first 2 riders should be dying for a break by 1.2km. Riders should all be sprinting, leader should now be able to follow the rider that just took off.
STEP 6: 1km, winner goes, and you hope for total and utter domination.
This method DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK! However, at least ONE of your riders will win, even if not the intended rider. All 7 riders should do fine, but usually all 7 can finish on top. (1-7)

yea this must be on easy mode or sumfin....
the AI changes tactics in different race modes. in easy mode....they use no tactics haha.
but basically what this guys sayin is hammer at the base of the hill to set your leaders up, then follow the wheels till the sprint...which isnt really advice so much as common sense...
If your sprint is up hill rather then flat, use a much bigger lead-out train.
TBH, I generally find that with uphill sprints the trick is just not to use your flat lead-out, but instead have you sprinter (who needs to be fairly decent uphill) get led out by a climb helper instead and leave them on dot until your sprinter is ready to go. As the pace is slower up the hills you don't really need a lead out man to start the sprint as he will keep up with sprinters uphill whilst on a high dot anyway.
@#8 - And then have your team leader (Wiggins, Contador, Nibali and such) follow your sprinter. If the hill is steep enough, they might get bonification seconds.
I appreciate you offering me these recommendations. Although I still have trouble learning functions, I want to grow better at it. I'm writing my residency statements at the moment. And even if these writing services assist me in getting ready for my assignment, I am still in charge of other responsibilities. I want to get things done quickly and pursue my interests.
