Simulation

Simulation is quite random, so it's not the rider with the best stats that wins. The best thing you can do to try and win a simulation is get a good form. Form is the most important thing when it comes to simulations. A rider with 78 climbing will beat a rider with 82 climbing if their forms are 95 and 71 respectively.
Assigning team mates to lead-out your sprinter does not have a great impact, but you can't do much wrong with it either. Mostly I find it interesting to let a part of your team chase the breakaway, especially if you have a strong sprinter.
For example, out of a team of 8, you could have one sprinter, a couple of lead-out man, and with the other you could check the boxes of both "chase the breakaway" and "try to get in the breakaway to protect the leader".
But as I already said, it's very random, so don't be upset when the results come out very strange. You can try and control it by getting your riders in a great shape, but that's not a guaranty.Home | Submit a new Tip & Trick
Another thing I noticed is that sometimes the AI relies on you to reel in the breakaway when it wouldn't in 3D mode.
I'd advise to assign one or two more riders to chase the break than you normally would.
