Sprint train

1. Use effort cursor on your first man you want in the train, then press sprint follow to make the order of your train.
2. Use effort cursor on the next riders as riders get tired and drop off from the front.
3. With 2 km to go, sprint with your leadout man, your sprinter will foll because he has the follow option on the leadout man.
4. Between 1.5 - 1.2 km left, depending on the level of the leadout man, go all out at 99 and press sprint.
Bear the rider's acc stat in mind - the acc defines how long the red bar lasts. A high acceleration is suited to trying to sprint earlier (or as a great leadout man). With a lower acceleration, you will find that you rider loses his edge towards the line - try to hide behind other riders for as long as possible.
In any case I find that the moment to tell your sprinter to go is best judged based on the position of the other riders. Again bearing in mind the acceleration stat, with a high stat, go as soon as your leadout creates a good gap. With a normal one, try and time it just before the others get there - not enough time to grab your wheel, but enough to put you at an advantage. With a low one, try and latch onto the others as they fly past - hopefully catching your two riders up will have taken enough out of them that you can then just come round them for the win.
caruut: the ACC stat does not determine how long the red bar lasts. that is a function of your sprint ability, stamina, and daily condition. the ACC stat simply indicates the rate at which your sprinter will achieve his max speed in a sprint. the higher the ACC the faster the rider gets up to speed.
if your sprinter has a higher than avg stamina, however, it will make your sprint last longer and allows you to start the sprint sooner without running out of gas. ideally you want to hit the line just as the red bar runs out. its no good to make a large gap if you run out of steam before the line.
i will agree though, the best time to sprint is judged on the position and ability of your rivals. and this is exactly why its so important to understand what the ACC actually does. if Cav is neck and neck with sagan as you hit the 1km mark Cav will win almost everytime, his ACC is higher than sagan and even if sagan's sprint was 85 he couldnt reach full speed in only 1k. cav, with an ACC of 84, will reach his peak VERY quickly and so can sprint later than the likes of a sagan or gorilla.
With around 2 kilometers to go until the finish, initiate a sprint with your leadout man. Since the sprinter has the follow option enabled on the leadout man, they will automatically follow snow rider the leadout man's sprint.
