[Tutorial] Be a Pro Mode with a Real Cyclist
By: coolrex | Average Rating: 4.68 | Game version: PCM14
As there is no tutorial for it, and it's quite a challenge for the new players. i have made this tutorial for them. in this example i will be using Stefan Küng Note: Full Editor, Excel Editor and Lachis Editor can be used for this trick
1. Go to DYN_cyclist 2. Find the ID of your cyclist. (Stefan Küng: 3708) 3. Change gene_i_age_decline to 0 4. Find the ID of your Pro Cyclist. (Between 680-700) 5. Delete your Pro Cyclist 6. Go to GAM_user 7. Change fkIDteam_duplicate to the team the Cyclist is in (BMC: 44) 8. Change fkIDcyclist to the ID of your cyclist (Stefan Küng: 3708) 9. Change fkIDteam_national_duplicate to your country (Stefan Küng: Swiss) 10. Go to DYN_procyclist_fitness_dat 11. Change ALL value_i_fitness to 75 12. Change ALL value_i_freshness to 100 13. Change ALL value_i_rythem to 0 14. Change ALL value_i_fatigue to 0 15. Change ALL value_i_workload to -3 16. Go to DYN_team_race 17. Filter the list on your cyclist's team (Stefan Küng: BMC Racing Team)
Ok this is the long part, as you are going to decide which race you are forced to race in, which race you can choose to race in. and which race you aren't allowed to enter.
18. Sort the list on fkIDinvitation_state from Forced to Asking Wildcard 19. Go to your National Championship and add a 3 in fkIDpro_cyclist 20. Choose the Races your forced to ride with your team to 3 21. Choose the Races you can choose with Points to 6 22. Change all other National Championships to 0
Ok now your done with that. you will have to know which team your pro cyclist was in. (in my case: Robinbank Young Talents)
23. Filter the list on your Pro Cyclists Team 24. Change all fkIDpro_cyclist to 0
Now we are ready to play with the Career, but you won't get a level if you won't do the next steps. this mean you will only grow if you use these next steps
25. Go to DYN_cyclist 26. Find your new cyclist (in my case: Stefan Küng)
you will have to scroll all the way to the right.
you will see these 4 lines:
27. Change value_f_capital to 850 28. Change gene_i_ptmap to 25444 29. Change fkIDyear_progression to 2455 30. Change value_f_gain to 21,823923110961914
The next steps are optional you don't need to change them but they can be usefull as you can change the contract for example to 1 year (which is normal)
Contracts 31. Go to DYN_cyclist_contract 32. Go to your cyclist ID line (Stefan Küng: 3708) 33. Change finan_i_period_wage to the Salary you like 34. Change gene_i_contract_end to 2015, 2016 or 2017
Potential 35. Go to DYN_cyclist 36. Change value_i_potentiel to 6, 7 or 8 37. Change limit_i_xxxxxx to the stats you want (85 max)Home | Submit a new Tip & Trick

For Louis Meintjes I just made the right age and stuff and edited stats/limits etc. to be like him. Your way seems better but harder though.
Started as 21/22 y/o due to high starting stats iirc and manually controlled progression. But I see your point, and as I said, yours is much better but slightly harder to undertake.
@RegenEcho: Are you using the default database? If so, BMC is not licensed in the game and is using COM and edited riders names. You should download the PCMDaily's database to use the real life teams and riders.
Would be worth adding some extra steps on how to change your starting level. Whilst it's great to play as an actual Pro, being Thomas for example, but not being able to ride all the races and having almost no pts to spend on schedule sucks.
I would like to know how to save it so I can see my pro cyclist in game, I have changed the stats, and overridden the career file, but it keeps coming up as if I did nothing to it.
Changing your starting level is actually quite easy. You only have to change in GAM_career_data the value of Procyclist_pass to 4. Now you're a level V rider and can participate in all races. This tutorial also works for PCM 2016
