Regarding Cancellaras stats: They are vey good except two things: I think that he is a bit too high in TT because apart form the WC and Tour of Switzerland he hasn't impressed in longer tests. And he's sprinting stat should - in my opinion - be higher. I know his stage win at the tour wasn't exactly a bunch sprint one be he was up there and had the power to move away. And in the sprint Hunter won, he was second.
I've seen more than those two exhibitions by Cancellara: Volta a Catalunya 2006, Setmana Catalana 2005, the London prologue you didn't talk about... he still won't do spectacular performances in GT's when playing since his REC value is too low. About the SPR value: can't have a higher one since then he'd be taking part of bunch sprints, and Montpellier's wasn't one of them.
In my opinion Cancellara is too good in almost every stats. His average is 81, while Sastre has only 76. If its true, than Cancellara will be the leader of CSC, and not Carlos.
I think Cancellara is the best TT racer, but 84 is too high. The next guy have only 80, so 81 should be more realistic.
