Nice! Hushovd will win the green jersey this year! In TDF 2008 he won 1 stage and got 2nd in the points classification, although he went through 4 penicillin cures while competing and preparing for the tour
I'm sorry but Cavendish will wipe the floor with everyone for the forseen future, he is just a class above everyone else. He can get over the mountains as well now, so he is unstopable. Forget anyone else getting near him on a sprint stage, because only an inch perfect lead out from another team could stop him.
He has always been able to get over the mountains, he finished the 2008 Giro, remember? With argueably tougher mountains than the Tour last year.
The reason he dropped out of the tour was because he wanted to prepare for the Olympics
Cavendish will probably win the most sprint stages, but if Thor takes enough points in the mountains and picking up points there i think Thor got a chance. And Cavendish has lost many of his most important team mates but Thor have getting better. I think it will be close between they two.
many says tour is a classic rider, and he is that but the reason he aint that good in sprint is because he got injured, and had to get up his condition so he did not make any other practise stuff:Time Trial,Sprint and more
