With the 2009 season having ended a couple of days ago, we are now ready to release a more complete version of the Expansion Pack that we released back in June. This version contains 101 teams, a completely new list of free agents, 93 new races, even more equipment - and a lot more.

We've also been working on a couple of new things compared to the Expansion Pack. E.g., you'll find 10 new scouting zones, a new time gap system, a few new variants, including some for national championships (meaning that you don't get the same 'kind' of champion each year), and a doping injury that are used for convicted dopers. This means that riders who've been banned for doping return to racing in PCM whenever their doping ban runs out - just like in real life.

We've been working hard and have tested the DB over and over again, but as with any big release, it's difficult to find everything. Therefore, we're now releasing this as a Public Beta - the more eyes, the more bugs will be found. We then expect to release a Final DB by the end of this week where we will also include a DB especially made for Single Race gaming (with 2009 champions, lower stats in general, startlists and perhaps a few other surprises).

A new month, a new round of the track league. We finished Round 1 with SportingNonsense joint 1st with Adams55 on 62 points.

Round 2 picks up from where Round 1 left off. Saturday 17th October at 20:30 (UK time, 21:30 CET) we'll be doing another Omnium and depending on turnout we'd like to try some more events such as Keirin and perhaps more rounds of the endurance events.

Also October 31st (Halloween) will see a special round of the track league at the later time of 21:00 Uk time.  (As the real track season gets underway in Manchester.)

As we revealed in January, a seperate team has been working on PCM10 long before the release of PCM09. For the very same reason, many of us expect major changes in the game - and another positive side effect is that we already now have been given the 1st screenshot of the game!

It doesn't 'reveal' much, but any news are of course worth checking out. The screenshot can be seen here.

The announcement from Cyanide also confirms what Cyanide promised in January: A new graphic engine will be present in PCM10, and that "many other improvements will be featured".

It's also said that more news on the game can be expected soon.

Several great databases have been released so far, and hopefully, the next PCM.daily DB will soon join them. However, for the DB to be 'great', it needs to go through a serious testing process. We've added several new features and tried to implent some new ideas, and these do of course require testing.

Therefore, we're now looking for a bunch of testers. We expect to release 1 or 2 beta versions of the DB, and both of them will be very close to final - so don't worry, it will definitely be worth playing.

Thank you to all who turned up tonight for the games, and more importantly the DB help, we noticed a few things to iron out.

6 players turned up (full review click read more), SportingNonsense came away with the top points on the night, he was a consistant performer.
