Dear community,

despite the trouble of creating enough manpower, the stats department of the daily database team (aldrofj, Tafiolmo, Croatia14) decided to continue the project to at least hand out a final update to the lite pack. While we can't offer any particularly great new features or teams, we made sure that there is at least one database in the world of PCM18 that has stats that we feel are somewhat accurate to draw 2018 racing in the most possible realistic way. Hence we can somehow proudly present you a final stats update for the PCM.daily lite pack V2.

There is a vision to create a database to start with in the 2019 cycling season, but what we need for that is manpower, especially administrative one. If anybody is willing to take part in an approach to create a competitive 2019 database from the leftovers of the daily db, feel free to contact me via PM.

The time of the year everyone awaits is upon us, as the nominations for our beloved PCM.Daily Awards are now open!

As is tradition, it is up to you to nominate and later decide the winners of your favourite forum's awards. Whoever gets the most nominations will go into the vote, which will open in the new year, which means you have more than 2 weeks to send them in. You don't have to make nominations for every category, but the more the better!

PCMdaily DB Team's Post TdF 18 Stat Update

The PCMdaily Database team is proud to present our first Stat Update to our Lite Pack! In this update you will find the DB Team's very own overhaul of rider stats influenced by this years Tour de France. You will also find some minor alterations and corrections in PCT stats after testing how realistic these stats are in a game scenario. As always, if you disagree with anything we have done, head over to the PCMdaily Stat Discussion and come with your take on rider specific stats. Now get those TdF races started and enjoy!

The PCMdaily Database is still looking for new members to help out making the Expansion Pack for PCM18! We're specifically looking for both graphic makers, stage makers and even members with DB Editing skills. As always, you will find it most rewarding joining our team that has endured the test of time. All we're looking for in you is: dedication, activity, being open minded and also be friendly towards our DB Team members. Think you've got what it takes? Next to their work on the 2018 Expansion Pack, PCM.daily's Database Team has been working on an update for the Lite Pack V2 to fix some bugs.

Download the update by going to your Start menu and starting PCMdaily Lite Pack Updater from the PCMdaily Lite Pack folder. You need to have V2 installed first.

Upon release there has been a problem with the auto updater, which uninstalled the previous version of the Lite Pack before installing the new version and therefore removed the features that weren't fixed by V2.1. That problem has been fixed with the new V2.2 installer, so new updates won't encounter this problem. For those who have encountered this problem, click Read more for a solution. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we now know what the problem was, so it won't happen again in the future.

PCM.daily's Lite Pack 2018 V2 released

Exactly a week after the release of V1, PCM.daily's Database Team has released V2 of the Lite Pack, containing new races, real sponsors and most importantly, PCM.daily's stats amongst a few other new features.

Graphics Contest: Rookie Edition still looking for participants

A week ago, we started recruiting for our new Graphics Contest, which will help members of PCM.daily to learn all aspects of making jerseypacks through a fun competition. The contest is built up in rounds and each rounds concentrates on a different aspect of the creation of jerseypacks. Each round will be based on a tutorial and an assignment based on this tutorial.

The contest is planned to start next Monday, but under the condition of a minimum of 8 participants. With 5 participants at the moment, we are likely to postpone the competition until we have 8 participants.

ManGame pre-season

PCM.daily's Management Game is on its way for the 2018 season. The teams and managers have been announced, as well as the race calendar and the rider renewals. It's promising to be another exciting ManGame season!
