It's the same story every year - there's always a few lucky people out there who get the game before everyone else.

On both the Benelux forum and the official forum, people have started posting in-game screenshots of the game that's set to be released at midnight.

On one hand great for those of us who are eager to see what's coming up - not so great since we'd all like to get our hands on the game rather than just seeing it ;)

The screenshots will have to do for now, though, and this also means that we have now opened up for all the usual screenshot categories and subforums.

The first few member screenshots are already up, but many more are available here and here.

There's now less than a week to the release of Pro Cycling Manager 2012 (21st of June, by the way), and while we have received plenty of information so far, yesterday was your opportunity to ask questions to the developers of PCM and Tour de France (release for XBOX on 28th of June, no date yet for PS3).

Cyanide also used the opportunity to release some screenshots of what we want to see - basically everything that's not just a rider climbing a mountain. They can now be seen in the screenshots section.

Over the past few years, PCM.daily has had an affiliation deal with Focus regarding the download version of Pro Cycling Manager. Some people still prefer the good, old DVD versions, though, and for those people we haven't had a similar option.

That changes now, as PCM.daily has opened a 'store' at Amazon - the worldwide internet shop which sells pretty much everything, including Pro Cycling Manager.

It works in the same way as the deal with Focus. If you buy the game through the PCM.daily link, PCM.daily is rewarded with a share of the money you pay for the product. The price stays the same, but you help covering the costs of running PCM.daily.

The store also has Tour de France 2012, the console game for Playstation 3 and XBOX360, on the shelves.

It's been a few years since Cyanide last organized the so-called Open Bar event - but now it returns.

Open Bar is a forum event where you can ask your questions about Pro Cycling Manager 2012 and Tour de France 2012 (the console game) directly to the developers.

It's held at the official forum on Thursday the 14th of June at 18:00 CET.

If you already know what to ask, Cyanide ask you to send the questions before-hand to the user Cyanide_OpenBarTDF. Alternatively, feel free to ask them in the comments section below, and we will forward them for you.

As usual, the publisher of Pro Cycling Manager, Focus, has opened up for pre-downloading / pre-ordering the upcoming game a few weeks before the actual release.

If you pre-order the game, you will be able to download it instantly, but you won't be able to activate it until the day of release (which, for whatever reason, isn't mentioned on the website yet).

The price for most Europeans is 39.99 €, British can get it for 39.99 £ - while the Americans only have to pay 29.99 $. There's a few workarounds, but they may not work this year.

In previous years, PCM.daily have made an affiliation deal with Focus which is basically what pays for the costs of running the website. One is also being set-up for PCM12, so if you can wait and wish to support this site, don't preorder just yet and wait for the PCM.daily link. It will be available before the release of the game.
