Pre-order available - we kindly ask you to wait
Pro Cycling Manager 2012

As usual, the publisher of Pro Cycling Manager, Focus, has opened up for pre-downloading / pre-ordering the upcoming game a few weeks before the actual release.

If you pre-order the game, you will be able to download it instantly, but you won't be able to activate it until the day of release (which, for whatever reason, isn't mentioned on the website yet).

The price for most Europeans is 39.99 €, British can get it for 39.99 £ - while the Americans only have to pay 29.99 $. There's a few workarounds, but they may not work this year.

In previous years, PCM.daily have made an affiliation deal with Focus which is basically what pays for the costs of running the website. One is also being set-up for PCM12, so if you can wait and wish to support this site, don't preorder just yet and wait for the PCM.daily link. It will be available before the release of the game.

Can't/don't want to wait? Well, the pre-order page is right here.

I don't understand why a digital copy of the game is more expensive than buying the physical copy via amazon or something, but oh well..

Jeremy, I think the postage evens out the prices. Wink

I have never paid £39.99 for a physical copy of a computer game, let alone a download. They are really taking the p*ss trying to charge customers in the UK that much. Given the cost of distribution of physical media and then postage from an online retailer it is a joke that you can essentially get a non-download version of the game for half the price (including delivery). If Pcmdaily was able to offer the game for £19.99 I'd happily support you guys, but if it is £39.99 I'm afraid I will pass.

Fuck off if I'm gonna pay 40 quid for a game. I'll stick with what I've got and may buy it in a year or so.

Lol.. Every year the same thing.. Now you pay €40 and get it the 21st.. The stores will release it the 20th for €30-35.. That's how belgium works at least..

Honestly, I don't mind paying a little bit more if it helps to keep this site running. I'll certainly be waiting like I did last year.

@ Alakagom:
Not in Australia unfortunately...
#14 | Teddy The Creator on 10. June 2012 02:34
In Australia (and I'm assuming other countries) games are 100 bucks each. If a brand new FIFA or NBA 2K was 40 quid I would be thrilled.

I would buy through the affiliate link... but amazon saves me a whopping £20.

I know where I'm buying from.
