Bid farewell to PCM12 with some online gaming!
This Sunday (the 16th), PCM.daily are planning to hold an evening of online gaming as we say goodbye to PCM12 ahead of the upcoming release of PCM13. This will likely be a mixture of Track and Road racing, depending on the preferences of those who turn up.
As well as a farewell to the previous PCM, this will also hopefully act as a kickstart to more online racing amongst the community into PCM13. Indeed, there are plans to host an inaugural PCM.daily Online Championships later in the year!
If you are interested in playing, please make a comment either to this news post, or in the forum thread for the event, listing what time you may be available, and which events you would like to play.
With Pro Cycling Manager 2013 just around the corner, it's time for the (probably) last PCM.daily release for PCM12.
Knowing that you're not very likely to start a new career at this point, we have focused our efforts on creating an update for PCM.daily's 2013 DB that's compatible with your on-going careers. This has resulted in a package - a Graphical Update - that adds more 2013 jerseys, photos and even stages to your game.
In the 200 MB-file you will find more than 150 new jerseys, 2013 graphics for 22 new teams, more than 600 new rider photos and even some new equipment and stages. Everything will be added to your game and careers by simply installing the file.
Buy Pro Cycling Manager 2013 and support PCM.daily at the same time
Maybe you're one of the several thousands of people who are enjoying one of PCM.daily's databases. Maybe you once experienced a technical problem with Pro Cycling Manager that was fixed by the ever helpful members of PCM.daily. Or maybe you just like to wander the forums and chat with people from around the world who share your interests.
Either way, here's your chance to give a little something back while giving to yourself at the same time.
PCM.daily has once again teamed up with the official distributor of Pro Cycling Manager, Focus Home Interactive, to make it possible to buy Pro Cycling Manager 2013 (which you were planning to do anyway, of couse) while at the same time donating a part of the game's price to PCM.daily, which helps paying for the server costs and other maintenance issues.
It's quite simple: Buy the game from the banner below. Instead of Focus getting the entire cake, PCM.daily gets a share of it.
Please note: When clicking the banner, the site will automatically try to detect your area/zone. If you decide to change this manually, the link will change, and you will no longer support PCM.daily when buying.
It's also possible to buy the box version of Pro Cycling Manager and the console game, Tour de France 2013 (Xbox and PS3), while helping PCM.daily. Check out this site's Amazon store right here.
It's almost been a full year since the last release of Pro Cycling Manager, meaning that we're very, very close to the release of the next edition - 15 days, to be exact.
For the very same reason, we have now decided to open the Pro Cycling Manager 2013 forums, so you can begin to announce your stories, databases and release shirts, equipment etc. for the upcoming game.
In other news, I'd also like to mention that PCM.daily will launch the usual "Buy PCM13 through PCM.daily and support the site at the same time"-offer on Friday the 7th of June - so hang in there if you're a PCM.daily supporter ;-)
Lastly, some of you may remember that we mentioned a PCM Fan Day where PCM13 would be showcased - well, good news if you missed it. The full one and a half hour presentation can be seen at Twitch.tv, and it's certainly much more enjoyable than the usual trailers, screenshots etc. You really get to see what the game's like in action.
June not only marks the release of a new Pro Cycling Manager, but also our Favourite Cyclist Contest - ran by mresuperstar.
Now in it's 4th year, 64 riders go head to head in a simple vote, until the winner is ultimately crowned. Last year Jens Voigt was voted as PCM.daily's favourite cyclist, while the other previous winners are Thomas Voeckler and Phillipe Gilbert.
Those 3 are automatically entered into this year's draw, but here's where you come in. Make a post in the topic listing your 10 favourite cyclists (not including the above 3), where your favourite receives 10 points, down to you 10th favourite receiving 1 point. The 61 cyclists with the most points will qualify for the main draw. This nomination stage will end on Friday, so get your vote in now!
