PCM.Daily Banner Contest

We are currently looking to replace the site banner at the top of the page. We've had the celebratory 100k member banner up for a while now and we want you guys to design us a new one! You can find the details of the contest in SportingNonsense's article. Make a part of Daily your own!

Other Cyanide Titles

We all love Cyanide for bringing us Pro Cycling Manager every year. Well as you'd expect they also make some other games. Most recently they've released Basketball Pro Management 2015. Quite simply it does exactly what it says in that you manage a pro basketball team.

The game is available via Steam or through various other retailers. To find out more information check out the official website.

Man-Game Madness

Madness it has been in the PT. Jose Alarcon of Simply Red Bull pulled out one of the games biggest ever shocks to win the Vuelta Espana in comanding fashion. He was pushed hard by second placed Alberto Contador, Aker-MOT, and thrid placed Justo Tenorio, Santander. Alarcon really worked hard to take the surprise win and his manager Smowz was expectedly delighted. Also huge kudos to SN who provided yet another GT this season.

The PCT was tearing up the mountains of Andorra this week. Pozzovivo of Kappa-ENI took the GC win in an up-down race. This win will come as a big relief to Kappa who have been a bit below par this season. We also witnessed Michael Van Stayen of Venchi win again in the ZLM Tour to keep that team as promotion favorites.

The CT finished the Oberosterreichrundfahrt where Perikles Ilias or Magna-Ryanair rose victorius after three days of action. Currently the sprinters are in Uraguay for the Rutas de America flat classic, which should be a great race.

Story Game Summary

EPIC kicked off it's World Champinoships in style! Team Sky took Gold in the team time trial on day 1 ahead of Movistar and Astana. The exclusion of OPQS really benefiting those teams. We've also seen the U23 ITT event. EPIC creation Po-Ding Kim won North Koreas first ever medal as he took Gold ahead of Durbridge and EPIC creation Jordan Birtles of the UK. Eyes wait eagerly for the Elite event up next.

Thread of the Week

Games like 4T1L, IWS and Amazing Race have all continued strongly this week. As it always does the Cafe was active, where Jesleyh did some interesting stat crunching worth looking at. This weeks Thread of the Week goes to Music thread: Rate the band above you thread which has been very busy this week with a while variety of songs and music.

A basketball game? Shock
#6 | 547984 on 23. November 2014 21:17
Wow Cyanide...ok are you going to ask us for a kickstarter again?
#7 | zachbastian on 24. November 2014 13:44
SO, a basket game is the reason for not having "time" to fix PCM??? Cyanide is to date, the worst company seen! I´ll spend the rest of my days talking bad about Cyanide. F...´em!!!!!
#8 | TheManxMissile on 24. November 2014 14:18
#7 I suggest you do some research before ranting. Cyanide has released 6 games this year (including PCM) and already has 2 scheduled for release in the first quarter of next year. For company of 70-100 people that's pretty good
#9 | zachbastian on 24. November 2014 14:20
that doesnt make PCM working. Does it?
#10 | Selwink on 24. November 2014 14:50
#9 Your complaining doesn't either. Have you sent an official letter of complaint to them or something similar (and I'm not talking about this forum, as this forum is not related to Cyanide)
#11 | j0nne on 24. November 2014 17:13
Any news on either the Post WC release or a first 2015 release? When can either of those be expected?
#12 | TheManxMissile on 24. November 2014 17:17
#11 To paraphrase the DB team: Post-Vuelta/WC update has been available for a while. Don't ask about 2015 cause they don't know.
#13 | SSJ2Luigi on 24. November 2014 17:25
#7 oh no, online mode doesn't work, everybody should drop everything immediatly and fix that Rolling Eyes now if online was fun to play to begin with, then I could understand but no. just no
#14 | Dippofix on 25. November 2014 17:52
#13 Well yes, it is. How on earth can it take them over 5 months to fix online? For a company of 70-100 that's pretty damn poor.
#15 | jseadog1 on 26. November 2014 07:12
Basketball > Cycling
#16 | Alakagom on 26. November 2014 12:34
#14 Well Dippo, only 5 or so work on PCM.
#17 | Avin Wargunnson on 27. November 2014 08:08
#16 That is absolutely irrelevant to the quality of the product that customer expects for his money though...when i pay for food in restaurant, my satisfaction comes from quality of the food and i am not thinking about how many cooks were needed for serving it to my table. That is concern for the owner of the restaurant who should handle the situation, i only want my product to be of quality.
#18 | CountArach on 27. November 2014 13:46
Yeah PCM is worth almost nothing to Cyanide, the number of people which buy this compared to, say, Bloodbowl, is tiny. I have no idea why they would invest more in it.
#19 | SSJ2Luigi on 27. November 2014 22:52
#14 alright now I'm scared because I actually get the idea that you think PCM online is good. based on my online experiences, I find that hard to believe (although that's propably because I'm awful at PCM)
#20 | 547984 on 28. November 2014 20:40
#19 yeah not for you. You probably don't even want your username to show up on other players' screen, so I can see where you are coming from ...
#21 | SSJ2Luigi on 30. November 2014 22:05
#21 *claps politely* brilliant sir, great reference to the fact that I prefer my real identity to be unknown.
