Price and trailer of Pro Cycling Manager revealed
Pro Cycling Manager 2013

It's almost June - the month where Pro Cycling Manager 2013 is released - and it's now time to reveal the last few details, for example the price.

The download version has just popped up on the official website to a price of 35.99 € - it's set to rise to 39.99 €, though.

As always, there's varying prices across countries. In Great Britain, the price is 26.99 £ (29.99 £) while it's 35.99 $ (39.99 $) in the US.

For those of you who have been here previous years, you may remember that PCM.daily usually offers an option where you can buy the game through a PCM.daily link for the same price, but where PCM.daily gets a share of the cake (rather than Focus / Cyanide taking everything).

It's essentially what keeps the site running, so we'd appreciate if you wait for the PCM.daily link. Either way, you won't get to play the game until the 20th of June anyway ;-)

In Czech Republic, you can preorder the game for some 24Euros, it seems very expensive in countries you mentioned. Smile

Does anybody have the link for the trailer?

edit: found it, quite dull trailer actuallyFrown

I'll wait for the Daily link as I always do. I would encourage anyone who hasn't bought it through this website before to wait as well. It is the least we can do to keep the site running.

I'll wait for the Daily link.

Is it possible to buy with mastercard and is it a hard copy? (through PCM daily, I mean)
#6 | CountArach on 31. May 2013 13:57
It is a digital copy, so Mastercard works.
#7 | Ian Butler on 31. May 2013 16:13
is a digital copy different from a hard copy? I've only bought hard copies so far, so I'm a bit sceptical about the download version. How do you download it and is it safe? And when does the PCMDaily link arrive usually, a couple of days after release?
#8 | TheManxMissile on 31. May 2013 16:20
Digital is different from Hard. I wouldn't worry about security, as long as you get direct from Cyanide or the Daily link, both will be perfectly safe!
#9 | CountArach on 31. May 2013 17:22
It is usually on or about release day. The first post makes it sound like it will be available just before release.

With the digital copy, everything is downloaded directly from Cyanide and it is completely safe. I have bought the last 3 or 4 versions that way and it is fine.

Oh okay thanks! Just one more question, then. How big is the file usually and what is the download file? Is it a torrent or one big file or what? Because my computer freaks out with torrent downloads.
#11 | NTTHRASH on 31. May 2013 18:14
It isn't a torrent. IT downloads in three or four 1.2GB files that come through your browser. DON'T USE IE FOR THIS!!!
#12 | baseballlover312 on 31. May 2013 21:53
Why? I used IE to download PCM 11 and it was fine.
#13 | NTTHRASH on 31. May 2013 23:41
Just a security joke. Every time...
#14 | jseadog1 on 01. June 2013 03:19
Last year didn't daily link come out after game release?
#15 | Ian Butler on 01. June 2013 07:59
#11 thanks, I'll be using Chrome or Firefox, so no problem Wink

I'll probably buy through PCM Daily this year, then. Only still a bit worried something will go wrong with the download and I will have to buy hard copy anyway and pay twice...
#16 | Avin Wargunnson on 01. June 2013 08:55
I would buy trough Daily if it wasnt twice as expensive as in web shops. Same with pure digital download for 40Euros. That is a theft, given the fact that game can be bought for less than 25Euros.
#17 | SportingNonsense on 01. June 2013 09:54
jseadog, Last year the PCM.daily link came out the day before the release.
#18 | Ian Butler on 01. June 2013 12:31
Is that through Steam then?
#19 | Lachi on 01. June 2013 20:19
If you buy from a cheaper source, you can donate some money to pcmdaily. I am sure mike can help you, if you want to donate.
#20 | baseballlover312 on 01. June 2013 21:54
Wasn't PCM available ina hrad copy through Daily too last year?
#21 | TheManxMissile on 01. June 2013 22:26
#19
didn't there used to be a button on the site where you could donate?
#22 | Ian Butler on 01. June 2013 22:39
#21 yeah I was looking for it earlier today, it's gone.
#23 | baseballlover312 on 02. June 2013 14:00
Yeah, there used to be a donate button and a list of recent donators.
#24 | Ian Butler on 03. June 2013 10:46
CrueTrue said the button wasn't being used so it was a waste of space Smile
