Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico are nearly upon us, which means the start of our Fantasy Cycling season using the Velogames.com website. There's some interesting changes to the system this year:
- No points are given for final classification placings anymore - it's all about stage performances
- Each team gets 12 transfers to use throughout the race. So mid-race tactics is increasingly important!
- No longer are riders categorised in groups such as team leaders, sprinters, forcing you to pick a certain amount from each group - your selection is now completely up to you.
Otherwise the system is the same - you still have 100 points to spend on 9 riders.
The deadline for entering the Paris-Nice game is Midday GMT tomorrow, while you have a few more days for Tirreno-Adriatico. The PCMdaily league code for the website is 01075739. And you can read more information about it in CountArach's threads for Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico.
You can also place your bets on who will win Paris-Nice on our betting system. Alejandro Valverde and Tony Martin have the lowest odds (excluding Another Rider), will you go for them, or take more of a risk? |
