Criterium International released for console game
News

Getting tired of playing the same stages of the console game Tour de France over and over again? Fear not - as promised a while ago, the first official DLC has just been released - at least for XBOX, perhaps also for Playstation (although not confirmed yet).

The pack contains the three stages of Criterium International: one time trial, one flat and one mountain stage.

It has a price of 560 MSPoints and can be found in the XBOX Marketplace.

can someone explain how the food works? do u get an energy boost whilst the timer is counting down or do u get a boost as soon as it runs out? and is there any difference in what u take and can u overeat?

can someone explain how the food works?
=> You have different food available (depending on the pack you have purchased i suppose) Each item gives different boost of energy, some give only 1 bar (green or yellow or red) and others give 2 at the same time (green + Yellow or yellow + red)
When you eat an item, each item has a different assimilation time. During this time, the rider regains the energy from the food slowly. Once you have digested one item you can take another one (as long as you have items available on your list).

do u get an energy boost whilst the timer is counting down or do u get a boost as soon as it runs out?
=> Whilst

and is there any difference in what u take and can u overeat?
=> There is a huge difference in what you take, that's the interest of this gameplay. Certain food gives you a boost for green (which is mostly convenient to take at the beginning of the stage because they are longer to digest) and other elements give you a boost for red energy (attacks/sprints) which are useful only if you plan to attack or prepare the sprint. Also, because each element has a different time, knowing which items are longer and which are shorter allows you to optimize the intake of elements during the playable section. If you manage correctly the timing, you can take 3 elements whereas if you make a bad choice you may remain blocked with just one element.
