Amazon.de "leaks" again - first screenshots of console game
Pro Cycling Manager 2011

In terms of numbers, Amazon.de has provided the most screenshots of Pro Cycling Manager 2011 for PC. They weren't first, though, but thanks to another "leak" (well, releasing screenshots before the game has been officially announced is some sort of leak...) we now have the very first screenshots of the Tour de France 2011 game for XBOX and Playstation 3.

Edited: The screenshots are now finally available in our screenshot section. Look for the screens starting with "Console"

Along with the screenshots, Amazon has also been nice enough to provide a product description. It fits quite well with the rumours that we've posted previously: It will be possible to play all the 21 stages of the Tour de France, and judged on the screenshots and the text, it does appear like you're playing with one rider only.

Thanks yet again to EintrachtFan for the tip.

OMG! Those screens are at least 4+ months old... I wouldn't give much credit to them compared to what it will be the final product.

Its... That TDF-game by Konami on the PS2... But with PCM10's graphics...

I'm tempted...

And a peloton Pfft Konami's game only had groups of c. 10 riders.

It really was a great game Pfft Always starting in a think 23rd position and just try to sprint forward and pass everyone as fast as possible. Also the co-op mode was awesome.

Maybe you could have released them 4 months ago then aroda Wink

The screenshots look promising - and certainly an improvement on Konami's game. Shame I dont have an Xbox or PS3!

Looks brilliant but only worry it might be repetetive after few hours of play and boring. We shall see soon enough.

This looks like a decent game for PS3. I'm tempted now. Smile

If it is PS Move compatible I think it will draw even more of a crowd, but I'm guessing its not. Still its much better looking than the Cycling in Wii sports Resort.

Interesting how this game is going to work. I mean, you don't want to sit in the peloton 15/21 stages doing nothing but attacking in every stage/winning would be so far from being realistic. Play each rider on the team would kind of kill the whole 'be a rider' thing...

Oh, forgot.. Screenshots looks great. And since I wont get myself a decent pc in the nearest future this is tempting.

Great, will there only be a Tour de France?
#14 | Tuco the Ugly on 11. May 2011 17:58
@ 13: That's what it look likes.

I always wanted to play (buy) the TDF Konami game, looks like I don't have to now Grin
I hope there is some kind of "replayability" as I think it could be quite dull after you played the TDF four times and I hope there comes "more" like some kind of ProTour with the classics and other important stage races game, I doubt the game will take more than 5gb on my XBOX so I think there could be some space to make "more"

At least its the whole Tour at this game, not like Konami ones with very short stages and 7 stages as the TDF, but it had some kind of "amateur races" to get a better rider
#16 | CrueTrue on 11. May 2011 21:40
The amateur races were similar to the TdF stages in Konami's game - so you played the same seven stages year-after-year in every race.

21 stages is a bit of an improvement, but obviously, it would be great if more stuff was added.

And yet i ask myself why this can't be in the PC-Version. Just think about how nice this kind of mode would be in Multiplayer! But probably no one would buy the console version so i think that this will never find it's way to the pc-version.

Track mode is nice, but a road race mode would actually be a big addition to the new PCM.
