Patch 1.0.4.1 released (Beta?)
Pro Cycling Manager 2010

As promised by Cyanide yesterday (which, technically in my time zone, was two days ago), the new patch 1.0.4.1 was released today. The patch has been much awaited due to the tweaks and fixes it includes. For example, the sprints should now work properly again (no more Contador winning the mass sprints). In addition to that, a bug that prevented the riders from attacking for mountain points have also been fixed.

Anyway - we're already late on this, so let's skip to the links if you didn't download it already.

I've noticed that this patch makes small changes:

1. I'm unable to view my equipment, but it's still there when 3D racing is begun.

2. Pro Tour Rankings have been renamed Cya Top Tour.

3. Race Classes (1.1., 2.1., etc.) has been reset to Cyanide standards.

I'm not sure if this due to some random mod/patch bug, or an actual consequence of the update - But it's there.

Thats because the patch has replaced the Local.cdb file of the database youre using with a default Local.cdb file. You need to put the Local.cdb from the database you are using back into place, then make it read only.

question, my mate is installing the game to, but we have pcm.daily expansions packs( the 1gig and the update for 1.3) install them to? and is there comming a new pcm.daily expansion then?

Tested that, didn't change anything. I'm not sure I get why.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it.

Only now it's telling me that "There's no disk in DR4 / DR5". This occurs whenever i want to 3D (play) a stage/race. It's possible to continue some of the time, by pressing "continue" 8-9 times, but most of the time it just presents me with an APPCRASH.

Hmm...

Oh well, I suppose this doesn't belong in this thread.

strange thing... i installed this patch, and everytime i start pcm he wants to update from 1.0.0 to 1.3.0...

You don't need a new expansion pack for this patch. The DB has not changed.

Maybe the stats have to be adopted to the new AI but that needs some time.

Im having problems with the installation, when I try to open the exe. file there's a message that says: "The setup files are corrupted. please obatin a new copy of the program".

I already downloaded the patches 1.0.4, 1.0.3 & 1.0.2 and all of them present this error.
Im running a Vista 64x, I tried with and without the PCM expansion installed.

Erick: That could be because the files need to be downloaded with a download manager. See FAQ.

Hi! I'm in the 2013 season with Astana and my current wage bill is $ 427,000. The total wage bill allowed for 2014 is $ 700,000. Now, even though the contracts of Boonen, Cancellara and Frank Schleck are expiring and the remaining wage bill would be around $ 200,000, when I am trying to renew their contracts I am told the wage bill is $ 600,000. So, I can keep only one of these riders. Any idea?

PS: Contador retired in 2012 at 29.
