Trailer released
The trailer of Pro Cycling Manager 2007 was released to the public yesterday (yes, I know we are late this time ;)). If you haven't already seen it, well, go see it! In the video you are presented to the redesigned menu system, and if you look really close you might also find one new feature in the in-game race action. If you are able to figure it out, leave a message in the Comments-box -- I'd be pretty surprised :P
I think that those information at the end of the bars of the different people, give some kind of information of the riders special ability's.
I see some kind of hammer.. Also there are arrows which give info about the form of the moment.
Am i right, Cruetrue?
that's sort of what I think. as I said above, I think it's how the rider feels on that particular day, regardless of form.
on previous pcms it was more to do with the recovery stat, but nothing to do with the recovery board that you got saying "rider x good recovery, rider y excellent recovery..."
I've just got a good to go from Cyanide. Didn't know if I were allowed to say anything.
But yes, you guessed it - or, well, actually only one of the new features.
The one you guessed:

the colored bits on the right end of the rider's names. orange, yellow, etc. Is that how the riders feel on that particular day?
The rider has a "form of the day". To start off with nothing is shown, because the rider still hasn't realised whether or not he's in good shape today. Later, he will have a first guess which is represented by an arrow -- but it's still unaccurate and MAY be wrong.
Later, a digit will be shown on a grey layer. It's more accurate, but still not certain.
When it turns green, the digit shown is the _accurate_ level - his form of the day. If the digit is +5 he couldn't feel better, if it's -5 he couldn't feel worse, etc.. Quite a great feature, I think.
But there's one more thing about this. And that I will tell more about in the preview of the game I have just started writing
