Hello and welcome to this 23rd edition of the Weekly News. We are getting closer to the 2000 members mark, so it could seem like we are getting more and more popular - thanks to all for that! :)
New PCM 2007 section Today, there's precisely 1 month to the release of Pro Cycling Manager 2007. Therefore, we felt it was time to open up to the section which is dedicated to the upcoming game. As some of you might have noticed we have also opened up a seperate forum for the game.
As time goes, we will expand the section, so they end up looking like the current 06-section.
Beta Phase Two has started As said earlier, the beta tests have been split up into two phases. During the last week, the second phase started, and now around 45 people are involved in the beta testing.
Also, the 3rd beta was released to the testers, but because of some protection problems it's not yet playable. A fix for it will be released as soon as possible (probably tomorrow).
Trailer of the 2005 Titan Project T-Photon has worked on a very long time on a so-called Titan-project. It's a project like the PPDB Giant, but it's based on historical seasons. The first DB is based on the 2005 season, and now a trailer showing the features of the project has been released. It can be downloaded through RapidShare by following this link: http://rapidshare.com/files/32276122/TITAN05_Trailer_2.wmv.html
2007 Shirt Package - now in Final Version A few weeks ago, we said that a 2007 Shirt Package had been released. Since then, it has been updated several times, but now it has gone into "final version", meaning that it won't be updated anymore.
You can download it here: http://pcmdaily.com/downloads.php?cat_id=8&download_id=142
Another Danish website Believe it or not, but another Danish website has seen the light. Currently, PCMGeeks and PCMScandinavia exist (both for Danish people), and PCMFreaks will open soon (also a Danish website). Thursday, PCMDK opened - and while all this is happening, people are wondering whether or not there are enough people for all those websites...
Donations are welcome Repeat from last week We have currently received 0 donations. That is of course fine, but it also require us to be creative when finding space for the PCM 2007-files. With that I mean that we will have to remove most of our 2006-files when PCM 2007 is released and the files for that version starts being released. For us, having both is preferred, but since we are close to be out of space, and since I have limited money resources, donations are very welcome.
You can donate by clicking the "Paypal Donate"-button. You can pay with credit cards or through Paypal. |
