Yet another preview - and more screenshots
Pro Cycling Manager 2010

Update, 15th of April, 13:28: Six new screenshots, released by Focus today, have now been added to the screenshot section along with the international cover of PCM10! Thanks to Aroda for the tip.

For those who are eagerly awaiting PCM10, there's some good news: JeuxVideo.com, France's larges gaming site, has published a preview of the game which comes with plenty of new screenshots, both ingame screens and some of the new stage editor that comes with the game. You can see them all in our PCM10 Screenshot section.

Unfortunately, there's no news in the preview by JeuxVideo. They mention the new graphic engine (and repeat that the minimum requirements will be the same as in PCM09 - the recommended settings are, however, higher), the new stage editor, the new 'selected season mode' and a few other of the new features.

Just saw them they look great!
Also the stage editor/maker looks user freindly and not too much time before one gets a hang of it.

Wait...did they use different helmets for riders of the same team? I mean it's pretty much unimportant, but...
Other than that, amazing screenshots (even if they are "improved" Pfft)

It's always been like that Wink

The new stage editor looks like a real highlight in this years edition, stage editers sure will have a lot of fun with it Smile

I. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.

Unless the man-game forces my hand, I don't think I'm going to get it. I'm going to hold out until PCM '11 and hope they actually upgrade the gameplay for that year. Then I'll play it on my wonderful Linux system with WINE.
#7 | issoisso on 13. April 2010 18:10
Deadpool, who says they haven't improved the gameplay?
#8 | Deadpool on 13. April 2010 18:12
Besides the breakaway stuff, I haven't seen anything, and usually Cyanide makes a big deal about changes.

Have I missed anything?
#9 | neve57 on 13. April 2010 18:37
that is just wrong Deadpool....
#10 | Deadpool on 13. April 2010 19:56
What do you mean? Granted I haven't been keeping the closet tabs on the PCM 10 news, but I personally haven't seen anything in the gameplay area other than making breakaways more likely to succeed.

Instead of ridiculing me, tell me what I missed, and I might change my mind on whether they made any significant changes to the gameplay, worthy of making me want to get PCM 10.

Wait until you can get feedback from someone who's actually played it Deadpool. Don't judge before it's out Smile

@Deadpool
How the hell did you manage to run it under wine?
I tried numerus times but i am missing .dll files wich i downloaded but it's apperently not capable of running pcm.

Deadpool: It's difficult to 'sell' AI improvements Wink

There may not be new features as such (and there may - we might just not know about them yet), but if the existing ones have been improved, you'd still get a better game. After all, AI means a lot Smile

@markene2

I haven't done it yet, but a friend of mine did with a similarly set up game, and I'm about 67% sure I can get it working.

I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the NEW stage editor. Finally we may be able to build stages without the crazy % of climbs after intersections and default towns. Can't wait. Smile

Focus give you some more.

sorry deadpool... but the ingame graphics makes it look kinda good Smile
#18 | Crommy on 15. April 2010 18:29
As they do every single year Wink
#19 | valverde321 on 15. April 2010 22:53
Well the graphics are looking slightly better than in past introductions but that season mode is pointless. Just play a career for one year instead of making a whole new section.

looks great cant waitSmile
#21 | BouBBox on 22. April 2010 19:13
I'm glad the breakaway will have better chances to win... I like using small teams and it's nearly impossible to win a race : my leaders arn't good enough (in hard) for most races and the breakaway never reach the end in 3D race.
#22 | M3d3k on 27. April 2010 11:41
Will be included "my player" options in game?
#23 | franki28 on 28. April 2010 01:35
M3d3k: i dont think, they would have talk more about it...
