Update, 14/01/10: We are of course very sorry about the problems we're experiencing right now. The site's very unstable, and to fix this, we'll be moving to a backup server during the night (no downtime is expected). This will allow us to reinstall the current server, hopefully meaning that it can become as stable as it was before.
As many of you have noticed (judging by the e-mails and MSN conversations), PCM.daily experienced downtime from c. 14 to 22:20 today. Our server admin toyed with some settings yesterday, and unfortunately, these led to a crash (kernel panic) today. It took a while to reconfigure it, and we're of course sorry about any inconvenience caused by this. |
