In our on-going poll 14 of you have voted that you would like more new initiatives and more focus on the articles section. Well, we have both for you! For a few weeks, we have worked in our private room for something unseen on the PCM-community site-scene .. well, until now, that is: Database Reviews.
In our reviews we pay a lot of attention to the overall editing of the database. That could for example be having changed the "CyaTour" to "Pro Tour", the addition of new stages / new calendar, etc.. That part counts for 60 %. Since the stats of the riders are very subjective we don't count that for just as much. Therefore, it's only 20 % of the overall grade. The same goes for our graphic grade. After all, it is a "database", not a "pack of graphics".
To start off with we have three reviews: the Schütz DB 1.0, RSM News DB 1.3 and PCM Spain 2.2. All of them are 2007 databases which is (of course) not a coincidence. In the beginning, we will focus on 2007 databases, mainly because that's what people are most interested in at the moment. Later on, we will also rate historical database projects and some 2006 databases.
