With 41 votes and 41% of the votes there really was no question in the end that Issoisso would retain his crown as Member of the Year. Another former winner, SportingNonsense, came 2nd in this year's vote.
Most Helpful Member of the Year
Our past two winners for this (Addy291 and Dankan) have since moved on from the site, but let's hope the same thing won't happen to this year's winner fenian_1234. He wins having gathered 66% of the votes.
New Member of the Year
With an overwhelming 57% of the votyes, alexkr00 sure has made an impression and he is our new member of the year. Waghlon won this last year, although its questionable whether Alex would want to emulate him in any other way..
Admin of the Year
Waghlon's persuasive powers could only gain him 2nd as SportingNonsense takes the new award for Admin of the year.
Management Game Member of the Year
It was very close between A_Schleck and Levi4life, both are worthy winners but the award can only go one way, and it goes to A_Schleck!
Best Story Writer
The lack of Guido_Mukk was undoubtedly a mistake but could even he have stopped alexkr00, who wins with 48% of the vote?

One of the closest awards with all nominations gaining at least 17 votes, and the winner is Ildaboath.

It was a close award, but the shot of the battle on the Cauberg between Kroon and Ivanov is the winner - well done Wyman!
Funniest Screenshot
132 votes were made and 3 screenshots dominated collecting 103 votes between them. Just 7 separated them, and the winner is: Does my butt look fat to you? by racingman.
Best Site Initiative
With 37% of the votes, the PCM.daily 2009 DB defeats Fantasy Betting, the Management Game and the other to win the award - a prize for all the people who helped to work on it.

Rather than 1 specific thread, it is a grouping of threads that takes this award: the race discussion threads! The threads for the Grand Tours are after all some of the biggest in the whole forum.
Best One-Rider Story
Taking 49% of the 68 votes, A_Schleck's Danish Puncheur is this year's best one-rider story.
Best Team Story
There were 8 to choose from but in the end the largest story takes it, with The Columbia sprint train earning victory for alexkr00, a common theme for the story itself.
Best Database
As this is PCM.daily, it is probably no surprise that the PCM.daily 2009 DB takes the award, having gathered 65% of the votes.
